I have advice for all male-subs who are planning to release their profile for general viewing:
don't! YOU HAVE MORE CHANCE OF SEEING THE US ADOPT A SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT THEN OF GETTING A TANGIBLE RESPONSE! I have bent over backwards to employ that famous English courtesy that ensures more powerful nations walk all over us (Hi George W!), and nothing but nothing has come of it! I am 37, angry, pissed-off, tired and hurt at the prodigal indifference of online Dommes. The rudeness of some of them is astonishing! How difficult is it for instance, to write a quick note to say you are not interested? Oh, and please don't bother writing patronising replies telling me where i'm going wrong, or that i have issues! The only issues i've got are of The Wire magazine! I am sick to death, and just about through with making the effort here; i might as well be dead!

I think everyone at some point gets frustrated with either getting out of line emails or people not responding back.However, people do reads these boards and ranting about poor little me doesnt make a good impression. I am not saying that you dont have right to rant or even a reason to rant.

But you just remade your name and profile yesterday for christ sakes. Now your here ranting because someone you emailed did not respond back immediately? Has it even been 24 hours since you emailed them? Perhpas they have not been online, perhaps if they were they simply havent had time to reply.

Patience if a virtue Marx and no one is obligated to respond back to any email.

While I totally dig the need to rant, there are -so- many threads on this. Do a search for it and you'll get every concievable response.


Also...isn't -not- responding clearly a "not interested?" Perhaps not the politest one, but in light of how many e-mails some individuals recieve, it seems that not saying anything is a pretty clear way of indicating a lack of compatability.

Also, it makes no odds whether the profile is a day old or a year, they just don't bother! You can say it's just a poor little me rant, but you strike me as someone who is having their needs addressed, and when that isn't the case, it kills you! I realise i am contradicting everything i said, but the pain of isolation is unbearable, and collarme seems like yet another smug clique! As ever, it is very thoughtful of you to reply, but i am afraid my bitterness and anger at isolation have not abated one iota!

Look at this objectively- would YOU be attracted to someone who was posting this? We get threads from people complaining about the emails they don't get/do get about twice a week, but usually not as vehement or angry.

Before you write your profile and go back to posting with the new name, seriously sit down and think about what kind of impression you want to make. Up to now, you've sounded like a poor used car dealer trying to shame a customer into feeling sorry for you and buying a clunker. You say, used car dealers don't work that way... you bet they don't because it does not work.

What do you think a dominant woman would find attractive in you? Show case it and put the anger aside for a bit.

Marx, how would -you- react to someone posting as you have? I've beena ctive on these boards for...well...a while. I have a pretty good idea of who has posted and who hasn't.

you've barely started being a part of this community, and you've manage to antagonize some pretty remarkable people. Maybe this is a good time to look at the way you're presenting yourself.

Like I said, I'm all for ranting, but you said yourself you've been searching for four months. While it may seem like forever, that really isn't that long.

Also. Have you gotten involved in your realtime community? I -gaurentee- you'll have better luck there.

Although your frustration can certainly be understood by just about everyone that hasn't found the relationship that they are looking for, your rant (your word, not mine) is not likely to endear you to a lot of Dommes. Your response in a public forum would cause disdain from Dominants, because it tends to show that you might react with impatience and anger if things didn't go the way that you wanted them to.

I am in no way trying to flame you, as I don't know your personal situation and what you've experienced, but just wanted to give you a friendly bit of advice to not alienate people unnecessarily.

Serously, are you steamed after day of this? I'd bet that some of the objects of you desire haven't even seen your petion yet- and I'd be some haven't been on the site in weeks- have you been checking the 'last online' date in their displays?
