Apparently it's an everywhere-but-here nickname.  I have a friend from Ohio who mentioned that she was cornholing at a party she went to, and you should have seen the look our Indiana faces.  "But... but... it was that kind of party and you didn't invite us?!"  It took quite a while, lots of explaining and a ton of giggling to finally sort out what she meant.  Whoever came up with that one was either truly an innocent or my new best friend.  One or the other.
