Status: offline 		I have a great fetish for seeing women beaten and defeated.  I'm always on the look out in particular for superheroine porn where the heroine gets punched, kicked, belly punched, batons used, and other forms of beating.  In a roleplay aspect I think it would be fun to pretend I'm a kidnaper and pretend like I'm smacking my victim around.

Does this "beating up a girl" fetish even have a name?  Do many others enjoy the same thing?

If you like your partner to actually dress up as a superheroine, then it's also role play.

Status: offline 		That seems to fall within the realm of rough body play. The folks I've met who engage in that seem to have a martial arts background so that they know how to hit and be hit without doing serious damage.

Yes.  i would call it Sadism.  Or, if your pleasure is derived from watching others "beating up a girl" then, maybe a sort of voyeuristic sadism would be more acurate,  (although, technically, that would only be the case if you watched secretly).

I already said in a roleplay scenario I would 'pretend like I'm smacking my victim', emphasis on pretend.  As in, I would never dream of actually hitting a woman.  Unless she attacked me first!

Status: offline 		It definately sounds like voyeruistic sadism to me, since you want to watch it happen, but you dont particularly want to take part.  Sounds like you enjoy the apperance, but not the act. Either way, its sadism, since the pain of the victim is what you are looking for.
If you have the background to know how to beat someone without doing major harm (I have martial arts, so I know where I can hit someone from years of learning to spar safely) then actually hitting them isnt so terrible. Using weapons or other objects is a little riskier, but can still be done safely assuming you learn how.

The demo I saw was actually quite interesting. The presenter (a friend of mine with a martial arts background) did a couple of demos:

1) Involved an interrogation scene with a woman bound to a chair while he punched her on the chest and arms and slapped her face

2) The second involved a dirty old man/school girl scene that takes place at a bus stop. He grabbed her, wrestled her to the ground, ripped her clothes off and simulated getting on top of her.

In between, he talked about the places you can hit and the places you can't and he gave volunteers the opportunity to either be punched/slapped/hair-pulled themselves or to punch/slap/pull his hair. It was done so well as a demo that several woman volunteered to be punched/slapped/hair pulled.

I also know a couple who really get into knock down dragout matches. He usually wins but a couple of times she's gotten the better of him.

Status: offline 		I'd just call it erotic sadism (to distinguish it from the real sickos).  He hasn't said he doesn't want to.  It's just a lack of opportunity.

To the OP:  Get into your local community and get to know some of the people.  Libby and I are well known for this sort of play and we are constantly in demand by women who have a complementary kink.  Get a reputation for being able to do this in a realistic manner and safely and you'll have more action than you can deal with.  The "helpless victim" scene may be one of the most popular ones for women.  Just read some of Nancy Friday's books and you'll see it how common it is. 

And, yes, there are groups in Ireland.

      With the superheroine element instead of a helpless sub, I suppose one could term it hoplophilia...

      yes..it does...because not everything can be hidden or justified by the name "kink"
