Level -> 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 6:50:19 PM)

I want one.

sirsholly -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 6:53:17 PM)

i wouldn't turn it down...

LadyRainfire -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 6:57:58 PM)

[&o]  Damn you, Level.... Now I want one too. Though that's the new one that was used in Transformers when Bumblebee got his new look. That is one sweet car!

kittinSol -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 6:59:12 PM)

Neither would I, but... correct me if I'm wrong... isn't it a bit flat, and wide, like an out-of-proportion, wide-hipped, flat-arsed, kind of look, sort of thing, know what I mean [8D]?

I should say not! But the one thing I don't like about it, are the tail-lights.

No, that's Hillary you're describing [:D]

LadyRainfire -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:10:31 PM)

With that body though, if you get the 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 engine, you're talking some incredible handling capability, smooth cornering, hugging the road, Kittin. Even with the 3.6-liter V-6 engine, it would still be sweet.

[&o]  And some of us are flat-arsed and wide-hipped naturally so why not have a car to match our bodies?

TheHeretic -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:28:54 PM)

      Something might be wrong with me, Level, but this latest generation of muscle cars just isn't biting me.  They reek of overconfidence.

CraZYWiLLiE -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:32:09 PM)

I am more of a Mopar man...

Argh~! I bet you're not.

Anyway, you've made me want to go for a drive with you big time (I'm a crap driver myself, but I really enjoy being with those that know what they're doing :-) .

Alumbrado -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:44:52 PM)

It looks like a cross between a Mustang and a Charger.

LadyRainfire -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:49:07 PM)

[;)]  I've been told I'm a good driver. I was a paramedic for 5 1/2 years and we alternated between driving the ambulance and taking care of the patients. Add that on top of driving since I was 11 years old, oh ya, I'm sure I can give you a fun ride! Especially in that baby! Let's find some mountains to go play in though, I wanna feel the power!

*drools at 400HP and 6.2 liter V-8 engine*

kittinSol -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:51:19 PM)

Yes, LadyBond :-) .

Emperor1956 -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 7:54:49 PM)

FR:   It leaves me cold, level.  It is the new Dodge Charger, or the redesigned 'Stang, four years too late.   KittinSol with her excellent eye catches the problem:  the car's performance is mediocre, so you style it to be mean.  Even with the 20" wheels on the SS package, it is designed to generate g-forces, not drive.  Reminds me of the first Firebirds -- great if you wanted to go straight, fast and loud.  but lousy cars to drive on a real road.  I'm not entranced by any of these cars.

If we are dreaming, why not dream big?   or...for me, REAL big.  (click on the lead picture to see that there is a God, and he drives a GTO)

[sm=bowdown.gif][sm=bowdown.gif][sm=bowdown.gif]   There is a heaven and I've found it...... Men who appreciate good cars......

kittinSol -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 8:00:34 PM)

This one makes me drip , and it's only two hundred and forty thousands Euros. Very affordable, considering the value you get for the money.

PS: *choke, cough, cough, choke*

PPS: got first price wrong: it's even cheaper than I thought. Aaaah, breathing [:)] .

dcnovice -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 8:05:37 PM)

<fast reply>

They'll never beat those early-sixties Caddies with the round windows in front. My grandparents had one, and I still miss it.

Emperor1956 -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 8:07:27 PM)

FR:  I have to say, even I'm a bit daunted by the thought of gorgeous women sitting on deeply cushioned handcrafted leather seats...the rumble of a 4 liter + engine...mmmmmmm.   The little red tri-motor I posted is outrageously priced....even for a perfect 99 concours quality car.  But it is sweet.   Of course you have to load it up on hi-octane Premium (does anyone even make that anymore?) to do it justice.

I'm looking for a new daily driving car myself.  I'm giving the Prius to the kid to tool around the Boston area.  The problem is I want good milage, as I currently have a 60 mile plus every day commute...and that takes me back to...a newer Prius.  *sigh*

Real_Trouble -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 8:08:07 PM)

Call me when it (the Camaro) can actually corner.

I like the Aston, though.  I think I'd take a 911 GT3 over one, but still, nice freaking car.

azropedntied -> RE: 2010 Camaro (5/22/2008 8:09:24 PM)

would rather have a 1969 yenko bigblock , not emissions crap ,no computers , and way more than 400 hp potential [;)]
