Not wanting to differ with anyone, but cleaning the toilets would be the first thing i'd do in Master's house... you might find Your head there at some point and be glad You did.  Just an observation.

I hardly see that one happening to me without a good fight.

Well I am trying to figure out how living together would define a relationship as M/s and not D/s.

because everyones definition of M/s and D/s are different....i think he is referring 24/7 TPE type M/s or maybe Floggings is just trying to understand which type of relationship the author is referring too.....

The way that I read it, it seemed that he was implying that you could not have a live in 24/7 D/s relationship.

If it's considered abusive to be made to clean the house that you live in, i guess i need to find a "cleanaholics 12 step program" somewhere, because obviously, i am abusing myself and have been since about age 9.

Oh, this brought a smile to my face.....let me know when you find this 12 step program, please.

I'm one of the strange and unusual.....I find housework to be meditative. It's difficult for me to be in a house that is messy and not want to pick-up.

carrie

Smiles all around, carrie.  Well, if there isn't a 12 step program for us 'cleanaholics', maybe we can start one, since there are at least 2 of us. [:D]

Hey, i am so 'sick' that when i see the initials, SSC, i think "safe, sanitary and, clean.  Oh, i'm so ashamed......but, admitting i have a problem is the 1st step, isn't it?

All kidding aside, and i absolutely do not mean to make light of the value and importance of 12 step programs for the help they provide but, i cannot stand to be in a messy, cluttered, dirty environment.  Even when i go camping in the woods and sleep in a tent on the ground, i always clean up the campsite when i first get there, while i'm there and, when i get ready to leave.

For a lot of people, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing dishes and cleaning toilets might not seem to have any connection to sex but, for me, i need to be in clean surroundings to feel sexy.  When everything is clean and smelling good (i am very sensitive to smells, both good and bad), i feel very sexy and my mind is free to enjoy whatever happens, rather than thinking about that pile of dirty dishes in the sink.  i have been told, more than once, to "leave the dishes until morning" and, i hate that.

There is no way i would ever live with a slob but, in this house, the cleaning is my job and there should never be a time when my Master has to lift one finger to help clean His home, except when He forces me to rest.  He works hard enough already and He doesn't need to come home from work and have to clean.

This is a no brainer, of course a person should be ready, willing and abe to do "their bit", I'm sure most people would if they were staying at someone's home, BDSM or not.

Unless one is hell bent on being a perpetually selfish teen type. Those are the ones I wonder about.

Slavegirljoy.......
Now I don't feel so all alone!  I'm right there with you. There's no reason for anyone to come home from working all day to a mess.
I work hard, myself, and if/when I'm able to find the "right fit"...I will still work hard and still be "house-proud".  It's who I am.
BTW... the SSC/safe,sanitary,clean line is a new mantra....thanks!
