And they can start with an audit of  Halliburton. Something is rotten in Denmark.

Can we lock up Michael Moore as well? After all, he's got stock in Halliburton.

What Bush has gotten away with isn’t any different then what people in his position, or ones like it, have been getting away since the beginning of evolution.

My personal dislike for him, is similar to how I feel about Bill, he’s a liar; only his lies have effected a broader scope, in a more rapid, and violent manner.

I do not need to know the “facts” in order to see the results.

From what I understand, the intent of every administration has been to deceive the people; deceit and liberty do not mix company.

I wouldn't be shocked if these reports are true. I just can't wait till he leaves office and I am praying we don't elect Mccain to keep his ignorant plan going. It saddens me deeply to think about how far downhill our country has gone.

I'm actually hoping that his lack of popularitry will be hot long after he's lost all of his power.

Just becuase ones before him have gotten away with it-does not mean this one should as well. We need to set a precedent about crooked presidents.

This is painful, but one is either for the fair and equal application of the law, or they hate America, Freedom and Liberty.

If Martha Stewart can got to prison for violating 18 USC 1001, why not Bush and Cheney?

additionally, there is ample evidence for a Grand Jury ( hey, ever really wonder WHY purging the DOJ of "A Few Good Men", and stacking it with Loyal Bushies was so important? ) to indict under 18 USC 371.

quote:

... the presentation of information to Congress and the general public through deceit, craft, trickery, dishonest means, and fraudulent representations, including lies, half-truths, material omissions, and statements made with reckless indifference to their truth or falsity, while knowing and intending that such fraudulent representations would influence Congress' decisions regarding authorization to use military force and funding for military action, constitutes interfering with, obstructing, impairing, and defeating a lawful government function of a department of the United States within the meaning of ( 18 USC ) Section 371.

I consider the claim that Hussein had
* 26,000 liters of anthrax—enough to kill several million people
* 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin
* 500 tons of sarin, mustard and VX nerve agents

sufficient, don't you?

I'm not too worried about the Bush 'haters' on collarme: I don't think the dislike comes from something as passionate and irrational as hatred. It's an informed, cold in the light of day dislike for the man's policies and government. His personality is immaterial. Who cares if he's a dry drunk with a cocaine problem and an IQ the size of a gnat's?

If you want to have a laugh, check out the number of ultra negative threads with the word "Obama" in the title: then you'll see the other side of collarme's political coin (some people are calling for him to be assassinated: now, that's hatred for you).

"Poor Bush"? I don't think so.

Amazing that folks can't seem to tell the difference between something that is in fact a crime, and partisan agit-prop.
IIRC the courts wouldn't let Nixon order his own coverup under the pretext of presidential authority, and ordering agents to falsify reports (even by omission) would certainly be a big problem.

So how come everyone has been honking about fabrications like Plamegate, and Bush blowing up the Twin Towers, instead of this sort of paper trail before?  Closet Bushies hoping to distract?

Hmmmmmmm.....

Im suddenly reminded of the Eminim song about drugs being bad, except inserting bush.

Torture? Yes, MOST torture is bad, but whos to say whats torture, putting 10 pounds on someones nipples might be considered torture, but it isnt going to stop someone from doing it, or from someone enjoying it... Whos to say whats good? whats bad? whats moral? whats immoral?

whats that age old saying... Absolute Power corrupts Absolutly? And we think the mere humans we elect to run the country is going to change this how?

Sure A 3 year old could have run the country better, Yes he screwed the pooch extremely bad. BUT, What would you have done if you had what is the countries population now around 1 billion people crying for blood and revenge on who attacked our country after 911.  Would you have risked roits and thousands of american deaths as well as utter chaos of a country to make a long drawn out plan that would most likely end up the same way?

Remember people. BUSH Didnt declare war... he gets only 90 days in any country 30 in and 60 to retreave them Unless CONGRESS Says Well buddy were doing to war. Thats a 2/3s vote in both the House and the Senate. CONGRESS, sent us to war, Bush might have lighted the fire but they added the fuel. And did what? They did what humans tend to do now and again, they Fucked up.

Bitching isnt going to change anything about it, Nothing anyone says is going to change basic human behavior. Which is, power is needed to succeed, and the more power you have the more you want.

We will never on a large scale get along and share our toys unless we are massively brain washed. Why? We have free will... If you want peace and for everyone to get along, you have to take away the choice of anything but getting along.

Hopeless, don't try to clutter the waters with anything sounding like truth here.  We won't have it, young lady.  How dare you accuse Congress of doing what they actually did?
As for your plan for world peace, its been tried.  it was called the USSR.  They took away people's rights to have everything (except for the leaders) and they got .... hungry.  They got hungry and cold.  Thats what the total equality thing achieved.  Talk about a failed experiment.
I would give you 2 thumbs up but none of these smileys seem to have thumbs.

Someone's gonna get an anurism from all this Bush-hate stuff.  When you work so hard to hate someone its gotta be bad for your health.

I don't see how intelligently discussing a great political wrong being done in our names and trying to correct it is supposed to be counterproductive, either personally or as a people. If you lack the fundamental capacity to be a responsible citizen then you are no patriot nor anyone I would acknowledge as my countryman except with contempt.

...

I recognize that Bush is a puppet. But as has already been stated, you get the puppet first and then follow the evidence back to the puppetmaster(s).

SMC I have a question, How is sitting on a computer, moaning and complaining, that this person did this, or this person did that, or This person is a bad person changing anything but  wasting YOUR energy and time doing it.

Honestly Bush's aproval rating is what 20%?  You dont understand that 80% of america DOESNT like the man doesn approve of the man doesnt like what hes doing. Puppet or not, crappy or not, shitty or not. If you honestly have such a problem and feel the DESPERATE need to go after a few men when its about 300 men. Then instead of bitching here, write to your congress members, make petitions. The internet isnt going to help you.  An Online petition, take that to the local office they will fall over peeing themselves from laughter at the attempt. Learn the proper channels. The internet isnt a proper channel.

A Responsible Citizen is Not only informed, but does something to CHANGE whats happening, Not sitting online whining and complaining like a toddler would about his toy being broken by a bully. You here this is just counterproductive. this thread totally and completely counterproductive to the cause you claim to support.

This is a lot like a fungus. Bush is only a sporing body. I want to see them go after him, becuase I want the roots traced back. I want the puppet masters exposed-instead of being able to lurk in the shadows-pulling more of the same shit behind the scenes in the next administration.

I think that your suggestion is the best thing I have heard in a long time.

First off, I'm not the one who keeps foaming at the mouth over the SAME SHIT.  WE GET IT. WE'VE HEARD IT.  That doesn't make me any less patriotic or responsible than you.  It means that while you are trying to beat life into this same dead horse, you could be doing something constructive.
Reserve your contempt for someone who gives a shit about it but don't expect the rest of us to not mention the fact that you keep posting THE SAME SHIT.  You aren't a patriot.  You're a broken record.
As for your lofty goal, good luck.  You can't get to the "puppetmaster" through Bush.  Pull the puppet off and all you'll get is the finger.

I used to think that, now I think he is more of a consensual slave; an extension of his master.
