Kittin, that's true, white males are about the only group who "aren't" a minority these days!

Status: offline 		You're describing an American 'mall'. In England, for example, there are as many shops dedicated to men's sartorial needs, as there are to women's, if not more, actually. And many shops cater for both genders and are multisexual. In Italy, men look positively gay, they're so groomed, compared to their butch yank counterparts.

Status: offline 		Damn - never realized that my father, both grandfathers, all 4 great-grandfathers, and most of my male aquaintances were metrosexuals!
 
It's utterly meaningless when push comes to shove.
 
BTW Dominic, I know a few of those ballcap wearing ones that never seem to take them off.  Yes, a couple of them DO seem to wear one even to sleep - but they aren't what any of us would call the brightest bulbs in the box, and they're very definately "proud rednecks" who seem to think being uneducated, ill mannered, chauvenistic slobs is somehow a Good thing...

But popeye, you are priviliged, in a way. Perhaps you don't feel that way, but all things considered, you are at an advantage with your gender and skin colour, in the society you live in. Count yourself lucky :-).

Third pic on my profile... and possibly one of the least popular.  The one of me in the woods gets far, far, FAR more comments than all the other pics on my profile combined.  So despite all the talk of how good "metrosexuals" or well dressed men look... its the pic of me in jeans, a t-shirt, an oil skin duster, a large knife I carry when hiking and a pair of doe skin boots that gets the most attention... go figure.

Actually... yes... I have.  Also used to fence with my cousins with cattle prods.  But its okay.. I didn't suffer any drain bamage at all.

Status: offline 		When I hear Metrosexual what I envision is more then the packaging. 
I think a certain mind set goes along with the look, and for me not a favorable one. 
Of course this is only my oppinion but many times what I get from it is feminine, more politically correct. 
For the most part if I hear Metrosexual it's an instant loss of interested on My end.

Sure, if your a white man with money....

If you need a student loan, student grant, buisness loan, business grant, unemployment, or plan on paying taxes, I fail to see where any such advantage exists.

Many of my problems and financial struggles would have been easily solved by checking the African-American box.
