Mine just reaches the bottom of my back. He likes it although he wishes I could tolerate hair bondage better. It seems to always cause my neck muscles to spasm. Ouch!

Sometimes, older women with long hair look like they are trying to relive their youth, and long hair can be a style that is actually more aging than youthful on the older woman. It drags their face down even farther than it has already fallen, and makes them look sullen and just, well, old. Cali (who sports a number 3 around the sides and back, and scissored to about a 5/6 on the top)

i'm 43.i think i would be very uncomfortable if no longer had my long hair. unless it was due to chemo or something like that then vanity out the window. i dont think i look older than my age with my long hair. i have written in my living will that my hair may not be cut . my children know they will have to come to wherever i am if incapacitated and take care of my hair. the first decision made by my mother when i took my first breath was to have bangs cut on me. my hair was long and covered my face. i've never not had long hair. lost of treasured memories attached to it. many times i've had a patient sick and in pain tell me how their mother had long hair . they will tell me how they watched them brush it 100xs , they smile and i smile. women look sexy with what they feel natural in. some its short , some long. a few none.

It's kind of like categorizing what is obscene... "I know it when I see it". There are certainly some older women who can carry off long hair, and others who sadly, cannot. Cali

i've had really long hair for about 3 years now....i've just recently cut 5 inches off all around and it's taking some getting used to but i have to admit it looks better on me. my dominant has a penchant for shorter hair, it will be interesting to see if i can go shorter again...i used to wear it short all the time but have grown to love my long hair.

My hair touches my waist. Im 43. I only trim it 3-6inches every 6months or so.....cost almost nothing to take care of. Its part of me, and i love my hair.....Every man vanilla or otherwise has always asked me to never cut it short. Happy to say......i never will. I remember my 80something yr old grandmother allowing me to brush her long gorgeous white hair and braid it for her. Thats why my grands will be doin for me, perfect bonding time!
