Nails on Fingers ad Toes

Status: offline 		Kinda like the 'do you like long hair on a submissive' thread.
 
Most of my girlfriends and I spend quite a bit of tme, money and energy 'dressing up' our finger and toe nails. 
 
Does this matter a whit to Doms?
 
Assuming the woman's nails are clean and not replusive, do you like longish nails?  Certain nail polish colors (like red, or a french manicure)?  Do you like nail art?
 
Do you care at all about toenails?
 
Just curious -- all this effort to be attractive to Doms -- is it having any effect?
 
No offense to Dommes or gay Doms...please answer if you have any opinion on the matter.

Status: offline 		I'm no Dom, but I like my nails naturally long, usually painted clear or pink (not red), like nail arts, don't particularly like French manicure (too much trouble) while I've been told my unpainted nails looks like a French manicure (go figure heh). I don't touch toenails except to cut the excess now and then, I keep them a bit long, while I keep my finger nails very long.

I would only change my look if requested by my Dom, not otherwise. I don't use it to attract one, it's an image issue for me. Like my hair being long.

No "weird" colors. Pink is by far the best, red sometimes, that's about it. Very clean, and well done.

I am required to be fully manicured and pedicured at all times ... its about being a well polished, highly fem, attractive, well presented and highly maintained piece of property.

I wouldn't clean the work tops in the kitchen ... and ignore the floors ... so why would I do my hands and not my feet? ... Its all Sir's property ... all has to be kept perfectly maintained for Him.

Besides ... chips in my nail polsih after hours of scrubbing the house ... gives Him an excuse to chase me through the hosue with the nail gun and the cattle prod

Status: offline 		Frankly, day to day I don't and never have paid much attention or even noticed My girls nails. If I notice something wrong I correct it, thats about it. If she has had nail varnish on and it is chipping off then I'll send her to remove it properly.

The ONLY time I am likely to tell a girl to paint their nails is going somewhere formal. To Me toenails are even less important, so long as they don't draw attention in the wrong way then thats good enough.I care about her keeping her legs smooth, I couldn't care less most days about her applying paint to her toenails.

Status: offline 		My toenails are very long.  Long like my fingernails long.  I like them that way, especially during the summer in bare feet or sandals.

Laffs.  I have always suspected this, RavenMuse.  Most Doms probably don't notice!  
 
I still covet a good pedicure...I guess it is self-indulgence.

Status: offline 		He likes me in black on my finger nails. He runs towards the goth side and thinks it's cute. i'm not sure He ever notices my feet unless i'm hurt there.

Status: offline 		i always have polish on my toes in the summertime since i wear sandals so much.  i mostly wear clear or very light pinks or nudes on my fingernails, i steer clear of dark colors becuase i just don't like the way they look on me.  my daughter got me a bottle of blue nail polish for christmas...it hasn't been opened yet and probably won't, i'm not into those kinds of colors...probably my age showing there.

Regarding the "expense", I did my own nails for many many years, it's not that big a deal as a DIY.

My preferences:
Plain nails are fine, as long as they are neat. 
If nails are painted, however, I have opinions about color:  I hate pinks, pastels in general, and orangey reds.  True red is fine, as is black.  I like blues, purples, and metallics.
I have no opinion on length, unless they are so long as to get in the way.
Toenails are as important as fingernails (perhaps moreso, since unkempt toenails can be more disgusting that unkempt fingernails), if I'm going to see your feet.  If both toes and fingers are painted, they should be the same color.

I don't understand how that sort of prioritizing could be anything but a turn-off.

As long as my nails are clean he only cares about my nails if I care. Occasionally during the winter I use a soft pink to bring some sort of color into the frozen world.

Status: offline 		my Master likes for me to keep my toenails polished...usually in a shade of red. fingernails he prefers simply be clean, neat (no hangnails, brittle nails and such), their natural length (just long enough to be feminine, not long enough to be in the way), and healthy. no polish. i've never had a manicure or pedicure in my life, as my Master would consider such things to be a waste of money. He also HATES women who are overly made-up, whether it's make-up on the face or fake and/or overly decorated nails.

Status: offline 		I do not work in an enviroment that is conducive to having nice looking long nails and hands are often chapped and calloused  never had a dom complain  as  it is not really necessary for submission, they tend to be more concerned that  I am careful and follow the safety rules as work and keep my fingers out of the equipment ..so I am not ending up in the hospital for a crushed black and blue giant sized thumb again

Status: offline 		I've only had one manicure and I didn't like having it done, it just felt creepy and like they weren't my fingers. Plus they only stayed nicely polished for a week. IMO not worth the money invested.

That I didn't know and damn straight would I have a problem with a girl who would prioritize something so self-indulgent and frivioulous over anything essential.
