Status: offline 		i work with food so i cant have acrylic nails or wear polish, and long nails would get in the way, i do like to paint my toenails all kinds of crazy colours though and i dont think my Domly one is worried one way or another

OK .. I have periods .... and I still wear skirts right through ... so I will say it .. for hundred of years women had periods in skirts ... and for say 40 we had them in trousers ... its the same experience in a skirt of in trousers

Which is totaly irelevant... as the answer is in context of a girl I Own or who is being looked at in such a regard.... I would have a problem with such a girl (The former case her attitude would be changed... sharply... the latter case probably just not looked at any further)... In any other case they ain't My problem and can be as damn silly as they like. No skin off My nose

i didn't get the 'for obvious reasons' part myself; loose flowing skirts and dresses were always the preferred by me; nothing to make me feel additional stomach pressure when all bloated

That's funny. Here he doesn't get near the horse. He will lift the show trunks in and out of the trailer and carry the show saddle. But he won't walk the horse or groom it. I can't even teach him to give the horse a mint, spearmint not peppermint as peppermint shows up on drug tests as a false positive.

Beyond that, if you are going to have long nails that stay strong you need a housekeeper. The worst thing for nails is water. Scrubbing tubs and toilets and floors is a recipe for broken nails.

But no, I don't get my nails done. When I do, for special occasions, I'm lucky to get a week. Doing them myself only lasts a day or two. He doesn't notice either way. He doesn't normally notice what I wear either. He sees the body beneath the clothes, not the outside.

And I really dislike suggesting all women are suitable for only certain types of clothes/looks/work.  That would be like saying men shouldn't make posts because they always look ridiculous actually trying to make points- they need to just get some washboard abs, grease up, stand around and look pretty for me.

Most of my girlfriends and I spend quite a bit of tme, money and energy 'dressing up' our finger and toe nails. 
 
Does this matter a whit to Doms?

Well-tended nails are MUCH nicer if they are painted.  And longer than men normally wear them but not so long that the woman can't do housework.  I've never liked seeing odd colors on a woman's nails so I like it better when they wear some shade of red or pink, but as long as it is not Goth-black or gold glitter I'm happy.

And nail art is usually WAY too gaudy for my tastes.  No unicorns, faces, abstract designs etc thank you.
