Don't know you from adam, but... at a glance it would say: Didn't have the courage to live, so he rented out a permanent spot on at the Waiting Place. ...for people just waiting. Waiting for a train to go or a bus to come, or a plane to go or the mail to come, or the rain to go or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow or waiting around for a Yes or a No or waiting for their hair to grow. Everyone is just waiting. Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite or waiting around for Friday night or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil, or a Better Break or a sting of pearls, or a pair of pants or a wig with curls, or Another Chance. Everyone is just waiting. Can you stand? Do you arms work? Have around two grand? If you're just wasting your life there, drinking... why not set aside the bottle and hop on a plane and make whatever's left useful. There are hundred destinations where you could use the life you have left to make a positive impact. The two grand will get you almost anywhere. Dig wells in south asia, do relief work at Katrina sites (they need help now more than ever since so many other disasters have occured and taken attention away), escort the Night walkers... You can't keep food down? great... they don't have any. Contact me on the other side. I have a thousand suggestions for a life that could use direction if you have nothing tying you down and if you dare. But I'm warning you... doing any of that stuff could seriously put the wind back into your sails.
