Do find intelligent women/men attractive ? or do you find it so much more easy to control a man or woman who has no reason why they should do what you ask for them to do ?

An attractive woman is attractive....regardless of her IQ... Conversely....an unattractive woman with a high IQ is just a smart ugly woman.

I find it easier to control less intelligent people. I also get less satisfaction from it. For me, there are two great pleasures of dominance, and "seeing my will be done" is not one. No offense to the OP, but I found the title misleading. As a straight Dominant, I really don't find any women attractive. I can appreciate their beauty, but that is a much different thing. I've said this before on many threads. It isn't the outer form that makes a person attractive to Me or not. Sure, a pleasing physical shape helps, but that isn't the end of it. Intelligence, sense of humor, humility, and compassion all play a role. With that said, the two most attractive subs that I've ever had, I've found to be quite intelligent.

See beautiful boy, approach beautiful boy, beautiful boy opens his mouth and proves he has very few brain cells.... suddenly he isn't beautiful any more. While I'm not as attracted to women, I have also had a similar experience though there is is usually a hyper feminine attitude or feigned (goddess I hope it) stupidity makes me not even want to be the same sex so I guess my reaction is more extreme with women.

As both a sub and someone who identifies as an preteen girl age player, it is important ot me that my Domme be as smart or smarter than me. Its difficult to feel submissive to someone or a child to someone if you are constantly explaining things to them. I know it is in Ask a Mistress but I have an opinion and thought I would share. I think people in general look for people that they can interact with. Mind you andi may not have the Vocabulary that I do she has a street smart that gets my attention comes close to my own. I have recently been in contact with a woman who was admittedly very intelligent however she was also arrogant and it seemed she waited for you to mispeak or make a questionable mistake and then she would go on and on about how what she believed was right. It was Annoying and Ugly. In the Last conversation rather than continue on her rant when I wouldn't back down that she was only defending one side of an intelectual debate she just hung up the phone and then closed off all communication by c-mail. Now she was VERY SMART and VERY UNATTRACTIVE, Not because she was intelligent and in some ways more intelligent that I was but because she was arrogant and would rather be right than be happy, and she liked to infuse her opinion at every point that she could rather than accept that other people have different opinions. In reality we just didn't mesh well and because of this could not get along I do not believe it had to do with intelegence as much as compatibility. I respect an intelligent woman however I don't respect anyone who cannot respect others. Steel

If my Owner wasn't on the same level as when it comes to intellect, I do think I'd have a little trouble respecting her as a Dominant. One of the things that i love about the family that i've been brought into is their intelligence. Sure, some have more academia behind them and i might actually be the only one currently with a degree; but coming from always being the smartest person in a crowd to being amongst people as intelligent or more than i is an absolutely wonderful feeling. Even without the academic background, or "book learnin'" if you will; the groups well-grounded common sense is a beautiful thing to behold. As far as Stacy's contention that while nearly all will say that they find intelligent women attractive, most will in truth be intimidated by them; since when have fear and attraction been mutually exclusive? Believe it or not, but fear and intimidation are often incredible turn-ons in the world of BDSM.

A high IQ isn't necessarily what I find attractive. It's the quality of a woman. Her compassion. Her honesty. Her curiosity about the world. Her willingness to help others. Her creativity. After that, a nice smile, a great butt, and the requisite "rack" are nice extras, but optional. :-) Elan.

Generally, I look for a partner who I consider at least as intelligent as I consider myself. I've met women who are clearly more intelligent and/or they have more life experience than I. Yes, I found this intimidating, but no more or less so than when I encounter myself in this situation with a man. The difference is I don't want a romantic relationship with men. Thus, as far as my dating world is concerned, romance ups the ante quite a bit. Having said this, if there is chemistry between the woman and I and we can communicate, I take this as an opportunity to learn and to share experience. It is a difficult, but I think important lesson to realize that we can learn something from everybody. Each and every person has different experiences to share. A few years back, I was teaching young, music students between the ages of 13 and 17. One day, a new student sat down and he instantly did something that I had been having trouble with for years. He had no idea what he was doing, but I sat there, transfixed, studying his approach. This was just his natural inclination. After the lesson, I spent the next six hours trying to assimilate what he had taught me. The experience of watching and asking this student questions completely changed my own approach. Since then, I've always tried to keep my ego in check. No matter how senior or junior, and no matter what their IQ, each and every person has amazing things to share and to learn from. Elan.
