Status: offline 		I recently was with this guy as his slave, but It didn't work out because he kept showing me that he wasn't in control 100%. It's either all or nothing: I'm either gonna be a slave to the right guy, or not at all. I don't want to waste my time.

How do you define 100% of an intangible?  What is all and what is nothing?

The overwhelming paradox is (to me)..

How would a slave have a concept (or allowed the thought of) 'MY time'?

You have a my?

What does that look like?

Status: offline 		First of all, Masters are human too and are prone to mistake and bad judgements just like the rest of us.........gee what a concept. Second of all, if You're going to put your Master on a pedastal and expect Him to be 100% in control 100% all of the time, you're setting the relationship up for a very bad fall. Third, i love it when my Master can step out of His "Master" role for a bit, sometimes He just needs a friend, and it's been incredibly strengthening of my bond with Him. Sounds like you're looking for the perfect Master.......be careful..........when You find Him undoubtedly He's also looking for the perfect slave........and it won't be you.

i ask because "Trust" takes time to build, and imo giving complete Power and a Dominant/Domme understands it is wise to slowly increase the Power Control in line with the Trust being built between the two parties.

Status: offline 		Well I stay with him for four mos. And the whole time he kept saying opposite things, and it was the same thing over and over for 4mos. So I got tired of it and left. Now I'm at a point where I can make progress in my own life by myself. I'm not a mouse on a wheel, I don't like going in circles, doing same thing over and over with the same results. I know that if you want something to change you have to acutallly make a change. That guy was already married anyway.

Status: offline 		I don't know your situation, but I agree that you have not made it clear what happens.

Part of the problem is you used one of the most 'absolute' phrases: 100%.

The truth is that NO ONE is ever 100% in control.  Look at business for example.    Most people consider a CEO to be the '100% in control'.  But for a big company, he has a Board that he answers to.  For a smaller company, he has to kow-tow to vendors and to customers.

In your case, if you mean that  your dominant got pissed, drunk and yelled at his mother for something silly, then hey, he is out of control and I probably wouldn't play with him.   But if you meant that he did not object when a police man gave him a bogus ticket, then the problem is with you, not him.
