Status: offline 		We (Scooter and I) sleep spoons... sort of. I curl up to his back and most of the time nearly on top of him and he is on his side/stomach. And yeah, I have one foot sticking out of the covers. But all I have to do is doze off and the furnace kicks in and I have to turn over and throw the covers off. Twice, when she is able, sleeps on Scooters side of the bed with him in the middle. That hasn't happened for a long while, her RA flare has been so hard on her and her sleep patterns. And gypsy is more then welcome to come curl up on my side of the bed but she has to bring a blanket or freeze to death since I rarely sleep under the covers and my window a/c runs most of the year. (If it hits 40 degrees outside that a/c is on during the night... yes, I've had it running while it's snowing outside!) It's a king size bed so there is plenty of room since none of us are very big anyway. But the girls do have their own spaces and their own beds. And none of us are spring chickens anymore so there is no sleeping on the floor for anyone!! lol

Status: offline 		I cannot sleep unless I am lying facedown on my stomach with the pillows tucked under my head a certain way (i.e. piled up high).  No matter how exhausted I am, I just can't go to sleep unless I'm in this position.

Master has His own position He usually sleeps in and it doesn't complement mine.  We love snuggling and cuddling up until the moment it's time to actually sleep and then, for both our sakes, we separate and get in our respective positions and sleep.

Neither of us can sleep pushed together for several reasons including the fact that we can't be comfortable in our needed position, I get too hot smashed together like that and that makes it even harder to try to sleep and, mostly because, we just want to do other things when we're pressed together like that and it don't involve sleep.

We both work hard and need our sleep.  Therefore, we stay cuddled up until sleepytime and then we go to the spot in the bed we each need to truly rest.  I can't imagine being drug across the bed by cunt or collar while asleep every night.  I'd never be rested enough to go to work and bring Daddy His money..............luci

Status: offline 		The three of us sleep together in a king size bed.  He is in the middle and as of just recently, I am now on the right and Alandra is on his left.  He had us switch because he tends to crowd the left side and I was not sleeping well because of it.

When he sleeps, he likes to be touching or be touched by both of us.  Most often he cuddles up to Alandra and then I cuddle up to him.  He often sleeps with a fist full of hair and there have been times when I have been woken up by him pulling my hair and growling "mine".  He is usually asleep when he does that.

As far as temperatures, Alandra is often freezing and I am sweating.  He is somewhere in the middle, stealing covers when he gets too cold and throwing them off when he gets too hot.

Status: offline 		Well, for now it's just me and the bed hog of a cat......I swear, I'll need to get him his own bed just so I can have some room!  I sleep on my side with 2 pillows under my head, and one pillow on each side for me to lay my knee over.

On the RARE occasion someone spends the night, I can't do the cuddle thing.....I simply get too hot, I NEVER once turned off the a/c in my last apt...of course, the electricity was included...now that I'm paying for it, I'll have to have fans running to keep air moving.  It has to be perfectly dark with the white noise from the fan, and absolutely NO OTHER NOISE!  If he's a snorer, well, it's the couch for me.......but I have to spread out with all my pillows, so that makes me a bit of a bed hog too!  Unfortunately, when he wakes up looking for me, he tends to get a little miffed that I'm out on the couch.....but I'd rather sleep there than make him uncomfortable.  I don't do the sleep on the floor thing......I'm too old for that!  My poor old bones just won't take it.....especially now that all the floors in my place are tile.

Status: offline 		Sir likes me to cuddle around him, but like so many others i'm a bed hog and don't cuddle well once i fall asleep. i have a queen size bed a home and take my half out of the middle. Sir has threaten me with the floor, but so far it's not happened, don't think i could sleep on the floor and if i did i'd never be able to get up in the morning!

Status: offline 		I love to cuddle, but, be it my pet or partners, it's almost not possible.  I need to be cold when I sleep, and I mean COLD!  I'm comfortable if I wake up and my nose is froze.  But at the same time, apparently, I'm a blast furnace, and even when I keep the room around 60 deg, I'm too hot to hold onto or be near.  It's damned annoying.  Luckily the people around me work with me so that we all get what we need.

I also HATE waking up alone.  There were people in the bed with me when I fell asleep, where the fuck did they go!? O.o  It takes me a good hour to become fully awake as it is, that kind of thing is NOT good for my poor addled brain.

And good goddamn luck getting me to sleep without my plush snow leopard.  It used to be a teddy bear, for 12 years or so, but, we finally retired him...  Poor ol thing is wearing out.  Either way, I need someone or something to hold, or I'll lay there awake, tossing and turning all night.

Status: offline 		Usually Master and i are snugglers pre-sleep, then turn into our own sleep positions, which start out being on opposite sides of the queen bed and facing away. He's very hot, i tend to be cool. If i don't get to sleep real fast, i'm awake while He snores as He is going to sleep ... once He is actually asleep, He's blissfully quiet! Then i can get to sleep. He's a lot more mobile than me though, manages to make a mess of the bottom sheet all on His own and has broken 3 sets of sheet suspenders i've put on to try to keep the bottom sheet in place! Back to snuggling when we wake up, and usually a crazy conversation about something! Of late, health issues have sent me off to the spare room ... and while i undoubtedly sleep better and longer there ... i am SO missing the snuggles! And so is He.

Status: offline 		C and I are both violent sleepers. It's all nice and cuddly at first, but after we are both asleep, I steal the covers- then shove them off of the end of the bed, he flails around and pushes me off the bed.

It's a work in progress I think.

Status: offline 		i grind my teeth when i am in unfamilar surroundings. so the last time someone was in my bed, i got banished to the couch. thank god!! i was finally able to sleep. i much prefer sleeping on the floor.

i swear to many years in a bed by myself. i dont like to be touched when i sleep.

Status: offline 		Master and I pretty much sleep cuddled up all night. If one of us rolls over, the other follows. As far as the heater thing....I'm perpetually cold and he's a heater, so it works well.

Status: offline 		I sleep on top of a folded down comforter to relieve pressure points.  Frenchy is not allowed on it, and he is not allowed under my blanket.  Sometimes I lie on my side and put my hand in the middle of his back.  When his snoring disrupts me, I kick him.  He leaves for work several hours before me, and swears he kisses me goodbye, but I almost never remember.  Dee's bed is much more comfortable than mine, but it's still hard for me to get much sleep.  I like to wake Dee in the early morning with soft touches so we can fuck before he gets up to cook my breakfast.

Status: offline 		When I'm with someone, I have to be touching in some way all night, or I wake up looking for them.  Room cold, lots of covers, fan on for noise, and usually one foot out.  I've always thought I was a furnace like many others, but recently someone who normally wakes up sweating in the night told me that he didn't do that one single time while I was with him.  So perhaps I'm a secret freezer, who sucks the heat out of my partner.  I dunno.

Oh, and apparently, uhhhh, I initiate sex in my sleep.  Or so I'm told.  I think it's all a lie. Yep.

To sleep well, I need to feel my woman in my arms, smell her, and feel her heartbeat. I almost always wake up and take her during the night (advantages of being a barbarian, she is mine, I'll take her whenever I want).

So i was wondering how do you sleep?
Does your D type have a way of getting you back to him if you move away during the night?
Is he asleep or awake when doing this?
Does your s type move away from you during the night and do you pull her back to you? If so how?
Are you usually awake or asleep?
Also any clues as to the whys some d types do this in their sleep?

Both my owner and I spin like crazy when we sleep. I tend to go to sleep before him, especially since he has sleep apnea and tends to need more of a sleep ritual where I tend to orgasm and fall straight to sleep (like a man). Typically when we sleep he tends to move over to where I'm sleeping and we are usually touching or cuddling when we sleep.

But I'm a little weird when I sleep, sometimes I get claustrophobic (which never happens except in this one isolated instance of sleep) and start moving away and in order to actually fall asleep I tend to need a little bit of space (unless I'm exhausted I can't go to sleep cuddling). And then once I'm asleep I tend to like to feel him against me and similarly, he likes to feel me against him.

if my pet is home from business, we hold each other until sleeping however i keep a fan blowing because i get too hot from the extra body heat. otherwise, i sleep alone on my left side.

Status: offline 		Another quirk of mine while I am sleeping is that I have vivid dreams.  Quite a few times the dreams are so realistic that I wake up thinking that it is happening. 

When I slept alone I had a difficult time handling some of those dreams because many of them are a manifestation of fears that I have.  Now when I wake up I can just curl up next to him and go back to sleep.  Having other people in bed helps dispel the reality of the dream.

On the other hand, I tend to wake them both up with my reactions to my dreams.  The other night I woke up saying "there's a fire!" and then I immediately asked him "why did you cut your fingers off?"  He told me to go back to sleep and then I hear Alandra cursing on the other side of the bed.
