You can hardly discuss Katrina without mentioning the miserable failure of the Democratic governments of Louisiana and New Orleans. Look at it this way, if they fail to evacuate this time, will it be Bush's fault again?

Hell no.

And since it's their fault if they fail to evacuate this time, what made it Bush's or Brownies' fault last time, other than the screeching from the left, trying to make it so.

Had they evacuated as they should have prior to Katrina hitting then all that would have occurred then would have been property damage.
Again Sanity you miss the point, whether intentional or not is anyone's guess.Bush and Co.don't take heat for the disaster they take heat for the ineffective federal response. The head of FEMA being a totally ineffective crony apointment of Bush's blew up in his face on national TV.Who can forget Anderson Cooper interviewing "Brownie" and disabusing him of his opinion that all was good.Or Bush telling Brownie that he was doing a great job as the rest of the clued in mation watched the tragedy unfold live and in living color.
This must be a difficult time for you Sanity, you now find yourself defending the monumental fuck-up that was the Federal response to Katrina ...sad to see a grown man reduced to such a pitiful endeavor

Yeah, 'cuz, as everyone agrees, Bush did such a bang up job, they are still singing his praises for his "Johnny on the spot" performance after the hurricane. Kinda seems unfortunate, doesn't it, that they had to cut the RNC down to nothing... otherwise he could have stood up there at the podium, and be showered with rose petals, and screams of joy from a grateful nation at his superb leadership in a time of crisis...

At least this time he wasn't sitting there, staring at "My Pet Goat." While on camera. While the nation was being attacked.

I am not sure whether you are happy or sad about this.  Don't worry guy, I am sure you will find plenty of other things to bitch about after Obama fails to deliver us all from evil.  (Either by losing in Nov. or not being able to deliver).

I may even start a support group for the followers of Obamessiah.
