We'll know in two months. Yes, by intention. I try not to use blogs as definitive sources of information anymore than I do the opinions and "facts" posted here. Yet, you cannot deny she has some serious issues that are not going to go away. Nor can you deny that they are legitimate subjects of inquiry, which again makes me wonder why she was McCain's choice. Why would you pick a running mate that would invite negative reaction unless it was the product of a hasty decision?

If the Palin nomination sends the Dem base into a mouth-frothing frenzy (which it has), how is that going to play among those who aren't governed by hate? The behavior of his followers reflects right back on Obama. I'll be very interested to see the poll numbers next week. The early ones I've seen on her are looking good.

I seriously doubt that McCain thinks like that. He probably just wanted to try and get the Republican base on board, get some of the Hillary vote, and maybe please his beautiful younger wife... It seemed to me that the Left's overreaction really surprised him. After all, he is friendly with many Democratic Senators, he's been popular among left-leaning voters, and he has been for a very long time. This vitriol is a fairly new phenomena, at least this level of vitriol. I believe you hit the nail on the head this time Rich, to disavow a bridge to nowhere, and make it your shining standard,. but accept the money is going to be real change in america. Okay, I've never actually heard of someone filing an ethics complaint against themself. Does this mean Palin thinks she has no ethics so filed the complaint.. or does she think that she'll be vindicated by a positive finding and that's why she filed the complaint .. I'm not getting this at all. The legislature is already investigating the issue, so why file a complaint against yourself? [sm=AttentionWhore.gif] ::shrugs:: I guess it's a good way to keep your name in the paper .. and off the real issues, like $4 a gal for gas, 590,000+ jobs lost, a billion bux to Georgia .. you know, trival stuff like that.
