beargonewild -> Safety Message about Holly's Cooking (9/13/2008 6:55:41 PM)

In response from another thread and request of a poster on CM, I felt it is a civic duty to warn everyone about Holly's cooking. It seems it is bad enough that the fire department has been involved. I beg everyone not to eat her cooking, it can be hazardous to you health due to the smoke from the food being burnt. Plus she has been known to trip over shoe laces, walk into door handles and drive with the emergency brake still engaged. Holly is a walking accident waiting to happen and it's best to keep a wide berth.

this public service announcement was brought to you by The Concerned Citizen Coalition.

So is the food itself the dangerous part or the chance of being burned alive and other possible threats (flying pots of boiling water, slipping knives, toxic smoke, etc...)?

Apparently all of the above!

I think someone is going to be joining the LoudOne in the time-out corner very soon.

I stand forewarned because it's the second hand smoke that'll get you!

Lockit -> RE: Safety Message about Holly's Cooking (9/13/2008 7:24:59 PM)

Ahhh now... she makes a good hero sammie!  But actually... she might be the friend to have because of all those firemen...  (I couldn't help it holly, smile)

Daddysredhead -> RE: Safety Message about Holly's Cooking (9/13/2008 7:35:22 PM)

There was an incident that occured some time ago that caused Holly and Jim to have to purchase a new stove.  I'm not really sure what happened, but be afraid, people... be very afraid.  [:o]

I've heard that every recipe at her house starts off with, "have fire extinguisher ready".  [sm=flameout.gif]

KMsAngel -> RE: Safety Message about Holly's Cooking (9/13/2008 8:56:08 PM)

damn it, maybe her cooking is full of incidents, but she's a good friend! leave her be!

*NOT said in shades of that brittany spears fan*

arms crossed, legs spread, frown furrowing brow, protecting da hollygirl
