Explain this too me please.. fellow has contacted me twice.. sent me his picture..is relatively local.. I get three four polite emails then he deletes his account.. preplexed.. SD

Who knows why males act as they do?...The same thing happened to me by a guy who had even followed me to a social networking account online! He deleted his account, saying he wasn't so sure about being interested in submission anymore, then he whined when I picked someone else! [:'(]

Women do it too and can be just as flakey, for one. Two, it happens but such is life. Sometimes, it's not totally their fault. I've seen quite a few "new users" listed who, in their profile complained how CM deleted their account/profile for no reason. Now THAT must be annoying. Not to mention if wankers report a profile (for no reason) and your profile gets hidden since CM doesn't manually check the report system, people might also think you deleted your stuff. Though that's simple to fix with a message. shrug

Does the flakiness potential decrease after some period of time? I am courting a couple of potentials for a real life encounter that will require me to fly to their city, rent a room for a night or two, and also pay the expenses of my girlfriend to go as my "chaperone" (she is femdom too, so it works out well). With that in mind, it's a costly little "daytrip" and if I did that and a guy flaked I'd be pretty upset. I have another couple of options related to some business travel I have to do anyway - so no big deal there, whatever happens, happens. But if I am flying out specifically for the purpose of training someone for a couple of days...I'd be upset. I guess I can have a "plan B" but to be honest the couple of cities in question are not exactly locations I would visit for a girls' weekend of fun (hahah). Akasha

What can I say? In the beginning, there are great hopes. Still, the boys can not realize them. We all learn this lesson. Everyday. All of the time. I wish I could help you in your confusion, but I don't think I can. Just remember, even the experience domme falls prey sometimes.

Flaky only scratches the surface, really. There are all sorts of coping strategies for saving your time and energy, and once you start using them you will get called harsh and unreasonable! It's so much easier to just say NEXT and move on.

I do a webcam verification within the first few emails and that weeds out the serious candidates from the online wankers. Who knows why boys are so fickle?

Seeing them on webcam only proves they are the same as their picture. when I say he contacted me twice I should have clarified .. he contacted me on two seperate occasion both times there were several as in more than six seperate cmails.. both times the account was deleted...not two emails.

Many of the profiles are phantoms. I would be wary of any Master/Domme, boy/girl who after a couple of friendly emails deny's some sort of certification, phone conversation, etc as to legitimacy. Too many kooks out there. You can't be too careful these days...You were saved a lot of time wasted with his evaporation into the ether.

He is likely trying to find out more about you before revealing his true account. He hides behind the "masks" of the fake accounts, each time finding out more of your likes and dislikes, then makes his move using his true account when he has collected enough info on you. That way, he is almost guaranteed of a positive response. Its like what Nicholas Cage was doing in that movie where he could see into the future. Did you reply to him? The picture was likely a fake, just to find out your tastes. I could be totally wrong, of course [8D]
