Notsweet -> Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:16:04 AM)

Maybe I just keep running into them, but there seem to be a great number of men who believe that when a woman is sad, or not feeling well, or having a bad day,  it's a good idea to tell her that she'd feel better if she gave them a blowjob. I'm not kidding. Really.

A friend tells me that last week, the guy actually pulled his cock out in her living room and started grabbing and mauling her, until she fought him, and got him out of the house.

This also seems to be a popular favorite pick up technique. My question--has this actually worked on someone? Really?

Yes.  The Guy will definitely be in a better mood after.  [;)]

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:21:33 AM)

nope.

Thanks, Otter--I thought so.
And thanks, Faery. I take it you've heard of this technique too? I mean, I've been around the block a few times, and I'm stunned that it's still being used.

Some guys are idiots. [>:]

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:35:52 AM)

no i havent..but then im gay...but chances are it would only make the guy happy...and only for 5 minutes.

OttersSwim -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:36:35 AM)

Sadly it is true.  [:(]

For women, there has to be a serious evaluation of IF/HOW OFTEN a particular male engages in "below the waist thinking".

It is a challenge for all men, but some can overcome it enough to actually function in society.

The name Bobbit could come to mind real quick in a case like that.

{Wonders, to self, how hard to bite until it comes off giggles.... J'k of course lol.}

Notsweet -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:43:32 AM)

Well, is there a way to get this out into the general population?
It does NOT seem to make women feel better to be told this, and it DOES seem to make them never want to see the guy again. I mean, how unfeeling and insensitive can someone be without being a sociopath? I'm laughing, but I assure you, the one thing it DID do for my buddy was get her mind off her problem long enough to want to smear his blood on the walls.

I hate to say it, but it seems to me that that's more likely to be true....

Is sex a cure for sadness in men? Or is that the stupidest question I've ever asked? [:D]

MidMichCowboy -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:54:30 AM)

OK, the technique is terrible, but, I have known a couple of ladies, who, when they were depressed or blue, would come over and beg to suck my cock. A blanket statement never works. They were both very oral and very subservient. They lost themselves for a time in it and it gave them satisfaction. They both were also into sucking thumbs at night (though they would always deny it).

Best rule of thumb, generalizations of any kind .... almost always wrong.

cjan -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:55:16 AM)

Of course it works, and every time. Y'all are , apparently, not readers of the "Dear Cali" thread.

Emperor1956 -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:57:05 AM)

FR:  Living organisms are not stupid.  They follow pretty well-grooved biological and social imperatives.  Dogs can be trained.  Heck, even as low a life form as a flatworm can be "trained" to react to a bright light.  So why the reoccurring knee-jerk reaction here that the men in question are "just stupid".   Maybe they are not stupid at all.  Maybe they are employing a time-worn selection strategy, and also are telling you exactly what they think of you, and exactly what value you have in their life.

He is telling you exactly what he wants.  If you reject him, he'll move on to the next available (or perceived available -- usually a guy using this sex strategy isn't really picky) woman.  Consider that you selected these men.  How else did you find yourself in a situation where this suggested intimacy is even possible?  Maybe your selection strategy needs to be reevaluated?

Now you are getting close.

Notsweet -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 8:58:55 AM)

Ok....but do you go around offering it as a balm?

My next answer is going to be--"Your mom is sad."

So   ...   what you are saying is that giving the boss a bj before going to work is a humanitarian task for the wife/SO?

Maybe it could be a codiceil in the pre-nup.

cjan -> RE: Serious question--has this EVER worked? (9/28/2008 9:01:40 AM)

Balm or two ball ointment...it brightens your eyes, tightens your thighs and gives your ass some exercise. Try it, you'll like it.

And, mom's need to suck too, yanno.

Speaking of blanket statements.....
