Would it have made you any happier had I said, "The Obama campaign's recent $800,000.00 contribution to ACORN, and his work with the Annenburg foundation? Perhaps those words would have been more pleasing to your sensitive palate.

~FR~ Obama is running the campaign McCain wishes he could run. McCain hasn't accomplished a lot either. It's easy to be on the sidelines and take shots, call it Maverick, but once in charge, shooting from the hip won't work. He keeps proposing plans a day or two after Obama comes out with one, often changing his former position to come closer to Obama's. All McCain has left is to milk his Vietnam experience again and try to run on character, but when the campaign and its supporters have turned nasty, Obama floats to the stop as the reasonable, calm, honorable man of character. This leaves Obama an attractive candidate even to people who never thought they'd vote for a Democrat--or a black man. McCain attacks backfire

I want to comment on what qualifies someone to be President. I was born and raised in the US, I am qualified to run for President. Obama was born in the US. That qualifies him to run for President. I am of age to run. What other qualifications do I need. If you do not like who is running do not vote for him. Don't make an ass of yourself by spouting off stupid rhetoric.

At a recent social function, an African-American fellow told me he was voting for Senator Obama because "He understands what it is to be a black man in America". Not being one that can resist any opportunity to break balls, I responded: "That's incredible! I'm voting for Senator McCain because he understands what it is to be a white man in America!" *For some reason, I'm* the racist.**
