I would be lieing if I said I didn't like younger slaves check my track record smiles...I don't look at the age up front but after some long conversations some 18 year old  sound like 6o and some 60 sound like 17 years old ..Good slaves comes in all colors,all sizes and yes all ages..This ol' Master will never turn away an excellent because of age..I am 60 and mine range in age from 23 to 33 years old.....bounty

well for me personally i never actively sought out an older Master. I met Master in a chat room on Collarme. We're both ops there, it was one of those things where we were friends first. Over time we both just started connecting more. but all the Dom's i've ever been attracted to have been older. I'm really bad about not reading profiles, would just talk with them and get to know them. My friend Jen says it's a talent to find three Doms, all mountain man types, long beards, grizzly looking and older than me without ever reading their profiles for a month after starting to talk to them. I think the youngest i ever really talked to seriously was 36 which is 11 years my senior, the oldest was 56, 31 years my senior.

For me it's never been a concious effort to find someone older, they're just the ones i connect best with on all levels. It doesn't hurt that Master likes the idea of corrupting me lol.

It is ancient tradition. Merely the younger (less XXXperience) being guided by the older (more XXXperienced).
This is true in all areas of life, just because the current society tries to deny it, unless of course in a sexist celebration of the vanilla love for the ‘cougar”.
It’s no biggie…life experience still counts and those without still complain it means little.
The wheel keeps turning.

Chemistry in a relationship does not have any thing to do with age. People connect on many levels. What does it matter their age as long as they are not minors??

My quick answer is that experience is hot. Most of the younger guys don't even know where to stick their penises let alone how to actually approach DS. And for younger girls just starting out, they need someone who knows that they're doing.

Also, some older men are fine. Jason Isaacs for example. He is fine as fuck (and from what I have heard, not an asshole actor).

But again, not all girls are that way. My Dom is still in high school. Yeah, he's younger than me. Yeah, he did start school late. But is he the love of my life and the best Dom for me, yeah to that too.

Older is, for some an aesthetic preference, for others, a set of life circumstances, etc.  Some folks have 'Daddy issues'.  For some, there are darker motives (Trauma, abuse, etc.).  I'd say there's no set reason. 
I tend to think that, oft times, men hit their peak attractiveness in their 40's. 
That's not double my age anymore (Though, when it was, I still found it appealing). 
Far more important than age, to me, is the ability of a partner to be protective, loving, honest, honorable.  These traits are noteworthy and beautiful at any age!  :>

For me, age is just a number.

I happen to love older men.  They know how to use their hands and treat a lady.  Also, i happen to think that oldern men are EXTREMELY sexy.  The balder the better. 

With that being said...Would i pass up a younger guy...like my age?  Heck no!  If he has the right attitude and can actually be a Master!

Greetings...You sound like a very young Dom. I've been a Master for about 15 yrs now. I'm 63 and have a lot of experience, what about you? We must crawl before we walk. Age is just a number, don't forget that and just because a person is older, doesn't mean that he is dead. Take your time and it will come when the right one comes along.

People can do something for a long time without learning much.  I judge people based on the content of their thoughts and actions, not on their use of time as a weapon against others.

Good grief. A resurrected whine thread. *snickers* Ok, I'll bite. Dude, some chicks dig on older guys because they just do. It's a preference, like chocolate over butterscotch. There may be many underlying reasons, as many previous posters pointed out. All in all, you bitching about the lack of female submissives in your age group only reflects poorly on yourself. I think being a realist  is important no matter what relationship your in and take responsiblity   there is really hard core evendence about how babyboomers and generation x thinks and mllinums as they call them now   this is even seen in the work place   interesting
