I'm friends with two older male Masters who primarily train younger people. One is het and the other gay. The gay Master has written a book about his training method. Some (not all by any means) seem to be attracted to father figures. Probably the biggest problem in these relationships is in the area of regular, vanilla sex. Some (again, not all) would like (often unconsciously) to 'recreate' the conditions of the Primal Sin (e.g. sexual violation, withdrawal of affection, etc) , but then make it come out okay somehow. Regression followed by rehabilitation. The most successful Masters who agree to enter into these kinds of situations have a different person who is their sexual partner. In every case I've observed, eventually the Master has encouraged his submissive to seek out more age appropriate persons. They function as a Protector during that process. I've rendered minor assistance in the areas of exam/ SAT prep. In the course of my involvement, I've had numerous conversations with these individuals and their vanilla progress is quite gratifying to behold. Not exactly hardcore, traditional BDSM, but a power exchange for sure.

In life we seek to build balance and harmony. you can not grow if your always rebuilding your self or reinventing you. they say everyone we meet adds something to our life they also take it away. time that would could be spending with a great one vs a dud lol

Additionaly, even if the guy is very physicly attractive, many women also tend to loose interest very quickly if the man is unable to take care of himself.

I can't really agree with the idea of wanting someone twice my age even if i am only 22. i do like older guys, they tend to have their shit together which is always nice. but there is a limit. i get messages from Doms over 50 pretty consistently and i'm always just like "ewww." just mentioning that because people seem to think it's the sub that gravitates to the older Dom, but a lot of the time i'm sure it's the opposite. i don't seek these older men out, they come to me. ha, and then they get pissed when i say no because they are too old. a guy in his 50's has no appeal to me (least of all physically).

on collar me i find a lot of woman 22 wont talk to someone for a Master over the age of 35.im 50 but have had experiences off board with slaves 18-19 -20,so that is what i gravitate toward,i have seen in reall life all kinds of age match ups,it takes a little longer if your looking more that a decade apart

well I'll fall back on something I got told once...and it goes for everybody..."stereo types exist for a reason" meaning that people in most general situations make assumptions based on age, income, race, sexuality, etc and expect certain things because of that. And so when assuming that these charcteristics are mostly found in a certain age group...one will automatically start looking in said age group. Logically and all...but then again when are people logical?

I've skimmed through a couple of pages of this thread (not read it all word for word) but am suprised to see that as far as I could tell nobody has mentioned the very first thought that popped into my head upon reading the OP. Surely, if one is talking the dynamics of a daddy/daughter relationship, it is only natural that on some level at least she would seek a daddy that is older. I think we are kidding ourselves if we dont acknowledge that the role we had with our real father figure (or for male subs mother figure) has a huge impact on our actions, decisions and choices as a grown person. Over the past few years I have gone through a few "boytoys", male lovers in their early 20's (I am in my late 30's). Of the men I dated typically they are petulant, whiney, bratty... they didnt need a partner they needed a parent... someone to look after THEM, not someone I could ask to look after me. They do have stamina though [:)]

I personally do not want my One to be that much older than me. I am attracted to men older than me but no more than by say 6 years. Same as I want Him to be taller than me. Older and wiser and making me feel utterly defenseless to Him

Both of them. So, it's like a chemical reaction- those members of a system which act quickest tend to combine to cause the resultant formations. Or, if you're not into Chemistry.. young girls give it away pretty quickly. A lot of older men are out there, some get pretty desperate, and they do the same. So they end up reacting, or coming together, and forming a product, or a relationship. Then, meh. Some girls like older guys. Let's face it; our age group isn't exactly composed of entirely mature individuals. Some girls in our age group feel special if they're with a more mature individual, or at least one that they believe is, even if they're not of a similar stature. And, the men? Tight, naive, easy pussy.
