As I said to a friend at a munch tonight, "Just because I let Asshole Domly Male there rattle on and remove all doubt he's a stupid fool doesn't mean I'm a submissive, it's just more energy-efficient than engaging him."

Plus, good gods, if I tried to educate all the world's fools in their stupidity I'd never have time for anything else. And ignorance can be cured, but stupidity goes to the bone.

Status: offline 		i dont think anyone on this board truly despises women to the point of actually finding them repugnant. one would have to be very horrible to do that. No but i do think that men, and boytowninatlanta possibly too, are just a little shocked at how they have suddenly been usurped in the workplace where more and more women are gaining positions of greater and greater authority over men and outside work where women have become much more authoritative now. in a nutshell, we feel a little uneasy when Women want to dominate men and talk about doing so. it seems a little unnatural

Sorry, I don't buy either premise.

There are plenty of people on this board who are truely despising of women, even if most of them wouldn't actually come out and say it. Actions have and always will speak louder.

And whether or not anybody's "shocked" by the concept of equality, they are going to have to accept it. Evolve or die, as it were. The only reason this should bother you is if you don't think you can get by on merit and fully rely on riding the clout of your dick.

For males, its usually a lack of emotional maturity that causes the behavior you've brought up here. Sexism plays a part. Sometimes bad relationship experiences are also a factor on occasion.

Recently, I was at work and a guy I have worked with quite a bit, who does make chauvinist comments quite a bit, refused to help a Director because she was, "Too Dominant" and he couldnt stomach it. Needless to say, I very nearly couldnt stomach his reaction. I know this Director and I really like her. She is very sweet and is always extremely nice, definately NOT what I would call Dominant with the exception that she has a job to do and gets it done.

What kills me is that our boss is a woman and its always "yes, Ma'am" and "Right away, Ma'am" to which I stand in a corner grining ear to ear (I tease him about it later). I thought this "I dont like dominant women" crap was just that, crap. That is until last week.

This got me wondering.... are there really guys who really believe this crap? I dont mean someone who makes a smart remark in  a machismo way to get attention (which I sometimes do to provoke the "I'll show you" reaction".lol), but in a serious way. I work in a field which is by no means dominated by women and the common attitude amongst the guys is to treat them like crap. Over the last year, I have made it very clear that I will go above and beyond to show them anything they want to know. I think I get viewed as a "traitor" for this, but in my heart I know its right.


I can relate to this post a lot, particularly the bold area. I was submissive a lot to my female superiors in the office of my last job, and it bugged the guys I worked with.

I really upset them over one particular girl, apparently. She was picked on CONSTANTLY behind her back, and probably because she was one of the prettier but less experienced girls in the office. You would not believe the shit they'd say about her.

Any chance they got they slammed her or tried to make her look like an ass when she was dealing with them.

I made sure to be particularly servile to her just to drive them nuts. Problem is they liked me too much to throw me out into the cold, so what happened over time was they started to chill and treat her better.

And yeah...there are guys out there who really do hate women, or have Mommy issues, at least.
