With all due respect, what if that person happens to speak, say five different languages and English is not their mother language? Would you still think they are illiterate?

And do i have to state every time I post, that English isn’t my native language as not to be conceived illiterate?

I know there are spell checkers (I use them). What about the grammar, is there a program that can help you correct it?

If you aren't fluent in a language, or have learning disabilities, then add that to a sig line. You get a lot more leeway when people do know what's going on. Since the members on this site are overwhelmingly native English speakers, it really won't occur to us that someone else isn't.

If you want people to know that, then the onus is on you to inform them and not on them to guess.

As far as grammar check, doesn't Office have that?

In forum posting, no one expects that everyone will c & p stuff into Office to spell and grammar check unless they have such a problem with English that they need to in order to be understood. But in email, we do expect clear understanding which means do take the time to c & p and check first.

And there is a Murphy's Law about spotting someone else's errors and pointing them out. It clearly states that in return we will have at least one glaringly obvious error of our own.

Thanks for your reply DesFIP

I much appreciate your feed back and valuable information.

You gotta love Murphy’s Law
