No, I think what he's getting at is, whatever we don't produce using CLEAN COAL the Chinese will happily produce using DIRTY COAL.

Joe Biden certainly has no problem with that line of thought.

Asbestos industry: We must be saved from liability for producing a product that kills people! You need us! Do you all want to burn to death?

Heavy manufacturing: Superfund is anti-American! We should not have to pay just because nobody stopped us from dumping waste! It's all lies! People need heavy metals in their water!

Medical doctors: You have to protect us from the evil plaintiffs' lawyers! It's not fair to make us pay if we make mistakes and harm patients! We don't really know anything about healing...it's an art, like painting! We're all gong to stop practicing medicine if you don't! You need us!

Insusance Compnies: Who knew hurrricanes could hit! We need to be excused frrom paying claims! This is waaay too much money! If you don't, we're all going to stop selling insurance and you'll be sorry! You need us!

Doubtless there was a similar hysteria by wooden tool makers when people discovered metal, lol.

You appear to be saying that the Chinese are too stupid to recognize the negative effects of polution. Are you sure that is what you ment.

As to the biden clip I am not sure I understand your point. The very last thing he says in the clip is that China should be encouraged to build clean coal plants.
Does this mean that you are voting for Obama/Biden because we will be able to export coal to China to supply their clean coal plants?
