I don't think that has anything to do with being a Dom, the guy was just rude. Don't let it bother you, there are plenty of Dom's who have enough grace to get their point across without being twits.

Don't know about "Doms" but rude little wanker shits do that all the time.  It's why they're called rude little wanker shits.

This much is certain:  The man who will take you as his slave will not consider you ugly.

YOU ARE SO Right... Thank you for letting the submissives see there are good men and doms on CM... WHO are dominant not RUDE. it's not synonymous!!!!!

Uncouth jerks are uncouth jerks, regardless of the lifestyle/way of life they participate in.  And, it seems a lot of people who identify as Dominant use it as an excuse to misbehave (Not all; giving much credit to the good guys n ladies out there!).

Reminds me of when I was younger and I was always thin,  now not so much lol.  In any event ppl would say to me your skinny to my way of thinking that statement was just like walking up to someone and saying your fat.  So my reply was simple and effective.  I may be thin but your ugly and I can always gain a few pounds.

My hope was maybe they will think twice before they open their ugly mouth again.  Are you insenative idiots listening out there???

It's normal AND mean.  You just gotta suck it up, buttercup.

I don't have a lot of experience, so I was wondering, is it common for a Dom to disregard a subs feelings in this way?

Ya know... i think i MUCH rather have honesty.. even IF it hurts like that must have hurt, rather then be talking to someone new, getting to know him, and then send a picture a day or so later, and wham, ya never see him again.

Another thing that sucks is, to be talking, share a picture, he sticks around for a lil bit, but you can tell his attitude has shifted, and then he finds ANY way to be rid of ya, picking a fight.. finding another fault.. something..ANYTHING.. to give him an easy way out.

So, yeah.. call me ugly.. at least be honest.. i wasn't born yesturday.. i really know the reason your walking away anyways.. so best to be honest.

You are entirely correct. During an EEO investigation, one of my staff was asked by an investigator if he felt I discriminated. His answer was that I did not, he said - "he is an equal opportunity asshole". I am quite proud of that. I don't mollycoddle. When somebody "tells it to me like it is" I now know more about them, and about myself. I may not like what I hear, but it advances me, for as long as I don't get emotional about it.

Ah - so if I am honest, and say what I think, I am rude? I don't think so. Rude people are people who intentionally hurt others - I do not. I most certainly could have sugarcoated my opinion - I think that that is one of the less functional ways of our society. It serves no purpose. I would like others to be honest to me, as I will be to them. And I see no reason not to use the words that come to my mind.

and in your replies to those women, imho, you did intentionally hurt them - and i gather you feel proud when putting them down too.  while being "honest" as you so claim, you're actually being rude as well.

How did he intentionally hurt them? Because he chooses not to sugar coat his words? If he has a problem with their weight, how do you feel he should have worded it?

Greetings usemekinky,

First of all, I really don't understand the purpose of this thread....normal or mean, both relative terms.

Secondly, you can't fault anyone for being honest with their perceptions..even if it is so-called brutal honesty.

You can be grateful that he did you both a favor because it is evident his style of domination or mastery, probably wouldn't be best suited for you, if this upset you to the extent of reaching out to a public forum.

Quite frankly, you are old enough and should have enough life experience to know you are not going to be a perfect match for everyone you meet, everyone is not going to think you are beautiful or have the goldilocks syndrome where everything is just right, and everyone is not going to walk on eggshells to make you feel better...there are just no absolutes....it's called life and the humans that dwell within..

The most important thing is to be right with yourself, know who you are, realize your beauty is "you-nique" build upon that.. and the right one will come.  I am still not sure how this particular thread will help this course of action except maybe trying to put a band-aid on a bruised ego.

I do wish you well,
~donna~

There is an old axiom that says if you have nothing nice to say..say nothing at all... and just because you can be an asshole doesnt mean you must be an asshole... given the self esteem issues that are systemic in our culture it might have been more productive and more helpful to say something like.. I am not interested in a person with weight issues.. or I just dont think we will be a good fit.. all true all useful information.. and all getting to the point.. tactlessness is a choice or a result of low intelligence.. either way you come out looking like a meanspritied  shallow person.. and if thats good for you go for it..just dont expect to be patted on the back for it..

A tough woman that used to work for me in a factory tells the following about jerks:

"I'm not calling him an asshole.  Nope, that's a useful part of the body and I won't demean that part of the body.  What that jerk is is a f---ing hemorrhoid.  Let's butter 'em up with Preparation H and toss his ass in the dumpster."

Antipode, I resemble your remark about being an EEO asshole...that employee always called me "asshoole" with a smile on her face!
