I hope I am not intruding, forgive me if I am. But I felt the need to submit this.(No Pun intended... giggles) Please know this is just a personal view quote:
with all due respect MesDames Et MesPatrons, it seems to me that one is forced into slavery, initially the choice is made for them, and, no matter how well it might suit them down the line, it limits options. given a clean shot at the door with no fear of retribution, a slave will run for freedom Unfortuantely... this 'world' isnt as 'free' as people like to believe. A girl raised in slavery may well 'run' if given the chance... however, it isnt as cut and dried as such. Open the door to someone who has no ability to care for themself, because they have been cared for or enslaved most of their living life and thats all they have ever known, and they will stay. They would prefere to remain that way. This world can seem a lot more scary than you and I know it to be. quote:
On the other hand, relinquishing control voluntarily is the act of a submissive. Pleasure is received from the Mistress' or Master's approval. Being shown an open door is retribution in that regard. Dismissing a submissive is an ultimate punishment. Certainly in either case negotiations and concessions are made to improve Mistress' or Master's satisfaction with performance. At least that is my view. The relinquishing of ones control unto another may be seen as voluntary in its beginnings, but when one does such, (and I am not speaking in the short term or as a play) that is where her consensualness ends. Personally, I do not think that a slave relinquishing control is as consensual as it is percieved. A slave has to submit... because its in her to. She is a essentially a 'slave' to her inner being. (point 2 of gittas post, I hope she wont mind me using) She has no choice in the matter once she has realised what and who she is, because to do so would be dishonouring herself. quote:
a. a slave and Master are symbiotic, one would not exist were it not for the other. a slave is what she is inside... it is a very deep and spiritual feeling, when she is Mastered, she essentially loses her will, because her will is His. A Dominant exists firstly and then evolves to become a Master when He Owns something that others do not. The symbiosis is the end result. quote:
b. a Master provides the rules and guidelines defining slavery, and the Masters tolerance for the slave's activity. if the slave (unit, person, or system) works outside of the Master's tolerances, then communication is not acheived and corrective action is required. A Master does not define slavery, but a slave is defined by A Masters will once she is His. she begins her journey as a slave when she is dominated by the need to be herself. Only then can she be able to surrender to Him and her actions define her through His will. A clock is a clock, but give it a small wooden bird... it becomes a cuckoo clock. but give it a ring... and it becomes an alarm clock. but give it a chime... and it becomes a grandfather clock. but give it a strap... and it isl a watch. But ultimately... it is still a timepiece.
