I don't like it. I would never slap a sub as part of play.

I really think that's the whole issue right there. If I hit somebody in the face, it's because I mean it with anger. To me anger isn't a healthy part of relationship. Ergo face slapping isn't part of a healthy relationship.

If you can slap somebody in the face without being angry at them, then by all means, feel free to enjoy it.

I think I'd like it. But as a pilot, the risk of retinal detachment and/or other bad eye stuff is just too much. Too bad.

For me face slapping is a way of receiving loving treatment. As it is only when a Mistress touches your skin that You feel Her true presence. I do love be slapped, usually I receive these as rewards for doing a long days work. And yes of course I have manners by thanking them after they slap me.

At first I was totally turned off by the idea of having my face slapped. I could not wrap my brain around the idea that slapping was in any way pleasurable. To my way of thinking, the only reason someone slapped was in anger, or from loss of self-control. I didn't want Master to slap me, even knowing he'd slapped another with good results. Then one day, he just did it, and I was surprised at my reaction. First of all...it wasn't in a moment of anger. It was controlled and while it caught me off guard, it was mesmerizing. It made me feel wide-eyed and shocked, but it touched on something very primal and powerful. It made me feel entirely womanly if that makes any sense. It made me feel my submission at a very basic level. And, while one slap makes me take notice, to sit there taking one after another- that creates an entirely different feeling. It feels like he is stripping me down to my core, and I am handing over every last ounce of my will, and rendering myself completely void of any power to resist, to fight, or to hold back any part of myself. I just melt and become like this liquid version of myself ready for him to mold me into any form he wishes.

I can't begin to explain how much I love being slapped in the face. MasterK has actually only done this once in 3+ years, but it was amazing. Instant subspace for me.

Not long ago, I would have answered differently, but that was before I had personal experience, in a positive environment, with someone I felt comfortable trying it with.

Since then, it is one of my favorite ways to experience physical and mental challenge simultaneously.

i used to love face slapping, until i met Master for the first time, and He backhanded so hard (without any warning) that i saw stars. He did it a few more times until my lips were swollen and it felt like my teeth were loose. I begged Him to stop and He did, but by then i had a concussion and a haemorrage in one eye, which i ended up in a&e for. The sight is now worse in that eye, although the optician doesn't think the blows caused it, although since i had laser surgery i can't help feeling maybe it did.

It never occurred to me that anyone could or would hit that hard. In future i will tell any potential play partner that is definitely off limits.

You can beat my ass, upper back, feet, legs, and breasts (if done right), but if my face gets slapped, I have an automatic reflex that's pretty nasty. There's no thought involved, I'll just react. It puts me in a really bad headspace.

I love face slapping. That's actually part of how I physically got started in BDSM. I'm not sure what it is, but I enjoy the pressure, the sound, the sting...all of it on my face more than any other part of my body.

My experience with face slapping began with my previous Master - when he was inside me I had this voice in my head going 'please hurt me' over and over ... one day I got brave enough to whisper it to him and he was paying attention and he started experimenting. Gawd, the feelings it evokes for me. It takes me to a very basic, slave headspace instantly, all melty and gooey and ready to serve ... while at the same time he said he thoroughly enjoyed my gasps and wide-eyed shocked looks after each strike.

So now ... it's a 'gotta have' for me because my response is so powerful.

No, having my face slapped is not okay; I have really severe tmj and it could do further damage to an already messed up jaw.
I imagine face-slapping is great for the piss-off factor; I know I'd find it a provocative behavior.
