Historically, escapist and addictive behavior increases during economic downturns. This includes porn. The movie "Cabaret" is a good example, and a great film. It shows how many Germans focused on bawdy entertainment to keep their minds off the rise of Nazism (which came about in part because of the economic collapse of the Weimar Republic). Dear scvslave,

Pro-Domme and real-life Mistresses are not mutually exclusive concepts.
Currently, i am owned by a Pro-Mistress (Mistress Xena) who is also a lifestyle Mistress. i did see Her the first time as a paying client. She was also looking at the time for a domestic houseslave. After 11 months of trials (as a non-paying slave), i became Her property by signing Her contract.

Consequently, my own humble advice is: be patient, go to munches, make yourself known in the lifestyle community (which will include pro-dommes), and, more importantly, become a service-oriented slave. That is, you as a slave should be about how you can serve the Mistress' needs and not the other way around.

That's very cheap. Most of the pros in my area charge $250 to $500 an hour depending on your fetish.

I am a So Cal lifestyle femdom with tools, experience and occasional dress-up for the "mistress look".
My sub requirement are (to me at least) ridiculously minimum. Example: tribute often means tea and cookies. (seriously)
I would not respond positively to a query from you for the same reasons listed repeatedly in this thread. The repetition of the words "sexy" and "sex" tells me you have no interest in d/s. You want kinky play privately according to your own terms. This puts me into role as a service top. I don't need it.
Unless you change your mind about what's possible and what you have to offer in the way of service...there's not much hope for you. "closeted" indicates you won't explore the local community where you could play to your heart's content, you'd actually have a hard time choosing between the events held on same day.
btw "service" does NOT mean body worship to most of us. Service involves domestic chores, attention to our likes and dislikes or other barters as previously mentioned--like help with computer or secretarial tasks or errands.
