You're not alone in being bothered by it, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it really upsets me. I think it used to bother me when i was younger and more insecure, but as I've grown older, I've pretty much passed the point where other people's prejudices and stereotypes annoy me. In fact, honestly I have no idea why I ever let it bother me. I'm 6'4", about 225, a hockey player and former boxer, and I work out 5 or 6 days a week. I know I'm not wimpy or shrimpy, my partners have always known I'm not wimpy or shrimpy, and anybody who sees me in real life would never mistake me for wimpy or shrimpy, so why should it ever have mattered to me whether a bunch of strangers who knew nothing about me subscribed to a silly-assed unflattering stereotype about submissive men? Kinda silly, really, to let those people into my head in any way or to any degree.

For me it is yes. Remember, we are all different. Some women will love the wimpy guys and some, like me, don't want them. You will get no where if you try to figure "women" or "dominatrices" out. You will get everywhere if you try to figure us out one woman/dominatrix at a time. We are all individuals, not a collective. Your statement comes up a lot on the vanilla dating site I'm on. Seems some statements are common everywhere.


Oh, I'm fully aware of that. I just think it's funny that to most of the world, having been overpowered against your will makes you more of a wimp than choosing your own path, even if that path is to follow someone else. It's a terminology thang.

Take a look at the banner running at the bottom and right side of the main pages of this site.

There is a lot more to this story and I don't have the time or mindset to show it to you... besides there are other's that could tell you much better than I could.  But there are reasons that you in no way could understand and say what you have.  Now... if you wish to be as you are... you have freedom to be so, but if you wish to be a kinder, gentler you... you might at least consider there are those that have good reason for being who they are and to subject them to your ignorance is harsher than they should have to be subjected to on a site where we all have our little issues.

Status: offline 		I am not the stereotypical "small male sub". I am 6 ft tall, 250 lbs, a former football linebacker and hockey defenseman. I am straightforward and stubborn, wich can be good qualities when used correctly, though some may not think so in a submissive.

However, what anyone else outside of my Mistress thinks of me is irrelevant. She doesnt care about my size and wheight, in fact She likes the fact that Im not "wimpy" or a "doormat". Status: offline 		Wimps and what-not are perfect for "moneydoms" because they both have image problems.  The "doms" put down to the extreme their subs to bring themselves up and the guys have no self-esteem.

Now I'm looking for a strong Mistress, but that doesen't mean I'm a total pushover(a friend of mine once said I would make a better Dom)
