Met some wonderful ones (granted never in the age range of 18-22, but than again it's not my thing), and they never asked for money or tributes. 

...and thanks for the tips about meeting women off this site. ;)

Status: offline 		I might be coming off as an arrogant know-it-all, but you're coming off as a passive-aggressive snot.  If that attitude carries over to your in-person contacts with women, you might have better success if you get out of your own way.  For example: when you called a New York City-based fetish video director and prodomme "naive," that betrayed your inability to see the person you were talking to; instead you could only see yourself and your own sexual dissatisfaction.

I try to talk to the person who is actually in front of me.  I've found it works pretty well.  I recommend it.

Once again, thank you for the input. 

Sorry, those credentials do not impress me much, but people who are too much into the lifestyle were never my cup of tea (talking about prodommes or fetish directors here).  ;)  ...and you know, a person of such mind blowing stature or "kink-rank" can be naive too, but I will not try to burst your high opinion of them. :) 

...can't complain about my in-person meetings with women, and I am hardly sexually dissatisfied, but again, your input is valued. ;)

Also, don't know where that last bit you typed came from (in other words it's relevancy to my two posts in this thread) - seems to me you are reaching for soemthing, I just don't know what. :)

Status: offline 		There are sub- and slave-oriented men who post on these boards who are intelligent, responsible, and genuine.  I really enjoy reading what they have to say.  One recently posted a concern he had, and a roomful of dominant women tried to cheer him up, because he's garnered so much respect.

So too, there are men with dominant profiles who are responsibility-avoiding whiners.

That said, it's snide attitudes like yours, with smiley-smiley backhanded compliments, that causes dominant women I know to get exasperated as hell with the vast majority of petitioning male subs.  If you have nothing to "complain" about, then why on earth do you sound so unhappy and bitter?  Do you have any idea how many dommes would get down on their knees and thank 27 different gods if she actually found a sub who loved her, cared about her, and wasn't stuck on himself?  It's really frikkin hard, and to constantly be hearing hollow professions of adoration makes it even worse.

I hope you feel happier and more fulfilled in 2009 than you did in 2008.

The opening poster of this thread complained about too many pros and scammers, and he was having a hard time connecting with lifestyle dominant women.  This is an extremely common complaint.  Often (and this thread is a good example), the men who complain about it harbor significant anger against women, and it comes out, for example, as insults about their bodies.

I know that you are not able to acknowledge publicly that there is any merit in what I am saying.  Hopefully, you'll take it seriously in private, even though I know you can't control your snide response reflex.  However, a lot more people read this thread than you and me, and I hope some of the lurkers get some sense about how to (and how NOT to) approach women online, and in real life.

Your derogatory comment that I am too much into these message boards is telling.  You see this as a message board, the end.  I use it as a tool.  I've stopped counting how many people I've met in real life as a direct consequence of my posts here, but it's a lot.  I'm very grateful for this site, as it's dramatically expanded my real-world social network.  The people I work with are all male, for example.  My friends and playpartners are not.

Ironically enough, I'm about to log off for a couple days, and I imagine you'll take it upon yourself to have the last word.  It's worth remembering that your words are stored forever, and can be viewed easily by anyone looking at your profile.  My suggestion is that you type something that represents you in a positive light.

As do I.  ...but I have a hard time believing that those who ask for money are who they say they are.

Actually I know of several profiles on this site that are run by the 18-22 y/o women in the photos. Why so aggro?

And yes... yes I do ask for money from people wanting to session with me. I have a partner already, and I am a pro sub. Makes sense to me. *Shrug*

CM decides what is appropriate content. It's their site. We're just users of said site. To the OP, if you have a problem with those who demand tribute, find a way to hide them or ignore them. There are enough folks out there willing to give tribute to a profile on the internet. Doesn't mean you have to be one of them. Another simple fact is that there's a lot more men wanting to sub to a woman than there are women Dommes. That means you're part of a herd. It also means those who find a way to profit, will find a way to profit and if becoming an insta-domme does it for them, well it does it for them. CM allows it. You could be incredibly asinine about it and combine anything sexual with any request for money and forward it to your local DA. I don't care what anyone says, tribute in the form of cash or gifts in exchange for any type of sexual arrangement is illegal. So if you want to be an ass about it, go for it. I see no reason why pro's shouldn't be confined to a pro section, but then again, I don't own the site nor do I run it.

Or, you could just exercize some common sense and give a woman a reason to respond to you beyond the fact that you're male and you want to. Wants are a dime a dozen. Everyone has them. Making yourself stand out from the rest of the lemmings is more than just offering your undying devotion. It's giving someone a reason to actually have an interest in you.

As for RM, I quoted you here because you don't seem to be an arrogant know-it-all. You seem to think folks have a reason to be worried about pissing you off. No one does. All the childish mud-slinging in this thread reminds me of just that. A bunch of children wherein direct attacks that have no basis in anything besides one person's opinion are used to discredit opposing opinons. It is a tactic of the weak, not the impressive. 

No wonder Moderators are needed.
