Wow.  What a crazy thread.  And this post just summed up the irony for me.  A mudslinging thread about childish mudslinging.  It's no wonder we get dizzy around here! 

Then again, the topic of tributes is always a hot one.  On rare occasion someone is able to explain it in way that brings understanding to others, without the snarkiness, and others express their opposition to the practice in an unsnarky way, too.  But...it's rare.

I do like the term "instadomme" though, it's cute.  I have often referred to insta-subs for those who want submission without putting in effort - just add water and voila, they submit!  But that's another topic entirely...heh.

I agree that for some BDSM is a fantasy, but I dont think that means they are unsuited for BDSM. Many people have 3some fantasies that they indulge in. BDSM is a set of activities. Also 'topping from the bottom' is a perfectly valid way to indulge in BDSM.

Patience is a virtue. There are a number of wonderful women here, dominant in nature, and with extensive leadership backgrounds. Some of them are lifestyle, some professional, many are both. Nobody is forcing you to send tribute to these women that you aren't interested in. CM is free -- so if you aren't looking to offer tribute to an online-only domina, then don't... keep looking for the woman who is a good fit for you.

That is how I became interested in BDSM, only to find, as time and play went on, that it was satisfiying these deep and previously unknown needs I had within myself. Needs that seem to be deepening the more I learn about them,that sort of thing.

As to the rest of your post, it seems, then, quite a symbiotic and wonderful thing that for those whose entire lifetime interest in BDSM is merely service orientated - they can safely get their kicks and go home, happy and all the better for it. Good for everybody involved.
