In relationship or getting to know someone, what is/are your biggest deal breakers?

Deal breakers for me:

No job
Lives at home with mom at 40+
Bad hygiene
No time into looking nice(showing up fro a date in a baseball cap or in shorts)

Lack of a sense of humour, mostly, for me. I need someone who can giggle. Not understanding, or at least being accepting, of nerdiness is another thing for me that turns me off of even potential friendships with people. I'm a geek, damnit, and without at least accepting that, you're never going to be able to stand being around me!

i may be a submissive/slave but i still deserve respect.

I would have to agree with the unemployed and/or living with parents, and poor hygiene.  All would be instant turn-offs for me.

Other deal breakers for me are:

Emotionally unavailable.
Boring and non-creative sexually.
Penny-pinching cheap bastards.
Drug/alcohol abuse or addiction.
Lacking in passion and intensity.
Mental disorders.

Deal breakers for me:
1- They are recently deceased (well, maybe not if the body is still warm).
2- They aren’t in the right age bracket.  Old or young enough to reproduce.
3- . . . and as a human if they can’t do all of the following; “change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently or die gallantly. Because specialization is for insects."

Thanks to Robert A. Heinlein for that list BTW.

Lol - and then there's Resident, keepin' it real as usual. [8D]

[:)] . . .  I would have tossed in a few of my own like knowing how to seduce men and satisfy them with your sex, food and companionship helps but it seemed to be stating the obvious.  Like demanding they can walk, talk, fuck and cook.  So I just stuck with Heinlein's list.

Vendaval -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 4:09:05 PM)

Poor hygenie and slovenly dress
Lack of basic manners and respect
Closed minded and judgemental attitude

Those 3 stand out right away

Stupidity.
She's gotta be brilliant.
Average intelligence is entirely unattractive.
(Oh yeah...big tits won't hurt either).

Vendaval -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 4:20:32 PM)

Hey Lookie,

I am one sharp lady with large bossoms.  But your profile shows you being out of state.

lronitulstahp -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 4:21:25 PM)

i couldn't be with someone if:
He uses illegal drugs, or abuses alcohol or Rx meds.
He has bad hygiene.
He is a pre-ejaculator.
i don't find him at all bright or interesting.
He isn't straight.
He isn't monagamous.
He can't pass an FBI background check.
He doesn't like and respect children.

MstrPBK -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 4:21:53 PM)

In my case the deal breakers include but not limited to:

Being able to handle:
• having a Master who is disabled
• living in Minnesota (land of 10,000 seasons)
• living in household where there will eventually be more than one slave
• balancing outside work with slave obligations, AND working towards becomming an employee to Me at some point
• Dealing with at least 3/4 of my likes on my list from my profile (would prefer them all but you know ... )

parakeet89 -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 4:22:41 PM)

Unwarranted sense of self-importance, no sense of humour, stupidity, poor hygiene, closed-mindedness.

sblady -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 4:22:47 PM)

My dealbreaker list may seem harsh, but hey....you "gotta do what you gotta do"

Liars
Addictions (drugs, alcohol or gambling)
Prison record
Horrible relationship with their offspring (get a court order for supervised visitation and pay child support)

Poor hygiene
Unable to accept "me"
Rude/mean spirited
Lack motivation
No sense of humor
As Michigan's economy is in the toilet, if they've recently lost their job, they need to actively seek some form of employment, go back to school and if possible, relocate.

Wow!!  Thanks for starting this post Luscious!  This has helped me appreciate my relationship that much more.  [:D]
