I don't know...maybe it's just me...but I can feel the love so many here have for Sarah Palin. One has to also be impressed with the level of intelligence common through these threads...people differing in their political views, but articulate and civil in discourse when all over the net there are chat venues where personal attacks on people prevail. At least on CM there is none of the sophmoric name calling using words like ignorant, whore, hillbilly trash, obnoxious...etc. We can to agree to disagree on the political leanings of a woman like Sarah, a wife, mother of five, recent grandmother, and Governor of her State... We all know that Gov. Palin worked her way through six years of college withhout the benefit of a trust fund. Sure, the University of Idaho is not Radcliff but what school is like Radcliff? Can we ever forgive her...some would say no..but not here. I've read posts by people elsewhere who describe Sarah as "trailer trash" when we all know that she lives in a pretty nice, if not opulent, house on a lake, and she and the "first dude" fly their seaplane to favorite fishing holes. It is true that she does love to hunt and fish, activities sophisticated people in Manhattan, Beverly Hills and Allentown, Pa. know a woman certainly should not participate..all that blood and stuff...yuck! .... Thankfully there is no discussion of Sarah actually "doing in life what she preaches"...another a political flaw and, some would say, weakness in her character. She went to term in her pregnancy to Trig even though he was diagnosed with challanges in the womb, but killing her son would have violated her strong principles and religious beliefs (again, a major weakness in a politician). Now that really must have pissed off Planned Parenthood in her denial of everything they believe in and preach. Don't y'all agree ... it's truly outrageous for a person to have such strong beliefs in this country? She must have never heard of those most important words ...you must be "politically correct"! It's also obvious that people here really miss Sarah being on stage every day. The offical URL for the State of Alaska might be helpful and ward off those painful withhdrawal side affects. Hey, maybe you can even send her a note...I'm sure she would appreciate your thoughts. Edit to add: http://gov.state.ak.us/
