ORIGINAL: corysub Ok...so if I understand you correctly, AFTER the positive impact of Sarah Palin on the campaign poll results, insiders in the McCain campaign saw her as an "idiot".... really.?? Yes...............really. I know you've seen this, which makes your adulation of this moron all the more amusing, but I thought I would post it just for fun. Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says - CNN.comWith 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/25/palin.tension/ A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign. "She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," said this McCain adviser. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else. "Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom." quote:
The Palin/Biden debate was the highest rated of any other Presidential or Vice-Presidential debate, and it was generally agreed that Palin held herself dern well with old "let me see if I can put my foot in my mouth again Joe Biden". It was the highest rated because everyone tuned in for the laughs. Maybe her true calling is stand-up comedy. And no, it wasn't generally agreed she held herself "dern" well (dern?). She didn't make a complete ass of herself as she had done previously, but she wasn't exactly a shining example of analytical thought and intelligence. She was well-coached on certain expected issues and stuck to her talking points. Stuck to them like glue, unable to expand on any topic with her own thoughts, just repeating the same phrases she had been trained to say. What was amazing though, was she actually refused to talk about certain issues she hadn't been coached on, saying she preferred to talk about another issue and then reverted back to her talking points. quote:
It's wierd how liberals use words like "idiot" to describe Palin which, I guess, is something unique to the gene pool. There are people who are liberals...and than their are "idiots". Everyone who disagrees with the failed philosophy of liberalism is deemed an idiot.... No, everyone who disagrees is not. I've never described McCain as an idiot, because he is not, although I disagree with him on many issues. The perception of Palin as an idiot didn't come out of thin air. What's the saying? Where there's smoke there's fire. quote:
As far as costing McCain a victory, that seems to go against most pundits, including those on CNN, MSNBC..etc who give a lot of the "credit" to McCains defeat to the financial crisis that hit hard in October... So you mean the evil, liberal media that has no credibility suddenly becomes a tried and true source of fact when it supports your views? Too funny.
