Really? I supported the PRESIDENT because of his race? Leaving aside the fact that, genetically speaking, there ain't no such thing as "race", of course.

I was completely unaware of that! Knock me over with a feather! Learn something every day! I be ejumacated now!

M, I was driving through D.C. yesterday.
I was probably 5 miles away from where President Obama was
working yesterday morning.
I felt a sense of wonder I have never felt about a President.

I was proud to be in the same city as our sitting President.

I have lived here most of my life, and never had that feeling about any other President.
I am so glad I was alive to witness the inauguration of our 44th President, President Obama.

I know the feeling Mia.   I might take my little one down that way for my Birthday again this year; he loved it the first time I took him a couple of years back.   The symbolic significance for many boys is immeasurable.  I'm hopeful that this country will thrive and evolve to a higher level in it's representation of world leadership.

Funny link thishereboi...   That has got to be the most annoying commercial ever.   And the face looks nothing like Barack Obama.     M
