Daschle and Killefer are both OUT. Obama just threw them under the bus, or should I say limosine. This is the change all of the Libs were looking for. What a joke. Are there any democrats that pay taxes out there??

We have seen samples of what occurs when the average American stands up against Obama.  Thats why his critics are attacking him on message boards.

Do you mean you might be arrested and spirited off to a secret CIA prison in a foreign country?

Oh no, wait, that was the other guy who did that.

Soooooo......................care to share some samples?

Google "Joe The Plumber".

It's common knowledge that Joe was savaged just for asking Candidate Obama a few pressing questions, and many Liberals will tell you that they're happy about that fact.

Every aspect of Joe's  life was placed under a microscope and every possible deficiency was headline news. He lost his job, his tax records were made public...

Joe learned the hard way not to ask Obama too many questions.

I haven't seen anything negative happen to anyone who's stood up to him as of yet. Can anyone catch me up to what I've missed?

Bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe was put under the microscope because McCain needed a gimmick to revive his failing campaign.

McCain was the one who used a simple give-and-take between Obama and a voter to spin into a campaign strategy that Obama was a Socialist who was going to raise taxes on small business owners.

McCain was the one who elevated Joe to the spotlight.

Unfortunately, just like with the rest of the inept McCain campaign, they didn't find out till it was too late that Joe  wasn't a business owner and was in no financial position to become one any time soon.

That shoe can be thrown both ways.

Why are you wasting your time posting here when you could be writing to the president, and telling him that you don't care how many tax cheats and big-time lobbyists he stacks his administration with... because he'll always have your undeserving trust and support no matter what he does.

Here's a link that tells you step by step how to contact the President of The United States to voice your opinion(s) about his job performance, or whatever else you'd like to say. Why waste time posting here when you can say it directly to him? Unless of course yer chicken to say to him what you're proclaiming here...

Fair enough I suppose. Its just that I'm not going on and on complaining about what he does and does not do to an audience that cannot do anything about it. I'm simply saying if you want to be heard by someone who can do something, take your beef to the man himself and stand up for what you believe is right, and make him aware of what you believe he is doing that is so wrong and bad for the country.

As far as trust goes, I don't really trust him as I've never met him in person. So to say he'll always have my trust would be entirely inaccurate. It's not how I think at all.

and what makes you so sure I have not done both?
is your crystal ball foggy or on the fritz?

I'm not sure you have or haven't actually, that's your private business as far as I'm concerned. I simply showed you a mature, sensible way to make your voice heard by the person you seem to have the problem with. It didn't require a crystal ball, I just Googled the right search terms and posted the info here for your convenience. You're welcome to do with the info I provided you as you wish.

The media vetted "Joe The Plumber" because he was in the public eye?

Because people wanted to know more about him?

Really? Are you sure?

Nobody "vetted" Joe the Plumber, but other than that, yep, I'm positive.  He became a minor celebrity when the McCain campaign made him their poster boy.  He was perfect - a camera-ready 40-something struggling small business owner, and in a manly field, no less.  "Joe the Piano Tuner" or "Joe the Tax Accountant" just doesn't have the same solid, American ring to it.  The media researched him, which I'm sure you're aware is what they do with celebrities.  People love gossip.  It sells.  Would that it were not so.  I know way too much already about Paris, Brittany and Jessica, but I can't seem to avoid hearing more.

It's kind of a hoot how you insist on seeing him as a victim of the left-wing conspiracy.  Joe wasn't savaged.  It didn't take much to expose Joe's lies - they were pretty big and obvious.  Of course the lefty bloviators were all over it.  To be fair, the righty bloviators were as much all over supporting Joe and slamming the liberal media as the leftys were over Joe's exposure.  All the controversy lost Joe his $40k/yr job and won him a dedicated fan base among the anti-tax crowd and a new career in media, and occasionally a national stage.  Joe the Plumber seems to be doing pretty well for himself.

quote:

If that's the correct version of reality, then tell me, why didn't we hear anything about Obama's past.

You can't possibly be serious.
