I'm pretty sure that I have said this before, (and I hope it's not on this particular thread that I'm not bothering to read... lol I will feel silly! LMAO!) But Sweets is about 5'2, and I am 5'3. He swears He's taller than me, but if I am looking down to kiss Him when we are standing, then I am taller than Him! Anyways, He is only shorter than me when we are standing. And we usually only kiss standing up when we are saying goodbye... And then, I know that He is stronger than me because I always have tears in my eyes when I leave Him. When we are sitting beside each other, He is taller than me. I just have longer legs than He does. But as others have said, when I am on my knees, He could be 4'2, and it wouldn't matter. His hands fit perfectly around my neck. His arms fit perfectly around my waist. And His love fits perfectly in my heart {I know, I know. Total gag factor! lol}. As for stronger, My Sweets can pick me up, and throw me around like I weighed 10 lbs. (And that's saying something!). So I don't have to worry about that. But My ex, well, I could pick him up with one arm, and He had trouble lifting me at all when I was about 70 lbs lighter than I am now. lol So tat really doesn't matter to me either.

It's important to me that he be a big man. Most of my experiences with short men involve a lot of compensating for their insecurity about their height. Napoleon syndrome type stuff. Therefore as a result of too many encounters with short jerks, that is a turn off to me. To someone who hadn't had those type of bad encounters, I'm sure it wouldn't be a deal breaker. But I don't get turned on by skinny men either. Lots of women do. I like what I like, and I need certain prerequisites for there to be any physical chemistry.

From the small experience I've had, I have to say yes, he should have some size to him. I met one Dom that was very VERY skinny and the first thought that popped into my head was, he can't dominate me.

Being 6'1", i do prefer a taller man, like 5'10" or better and big enough to wrap His arms around me and make me feel small. At the same time, i have dated shorter men. Dominance isn't all in size....it's the look in His eye, the assertiveness, the attitude. That's what makes me submit, the ability to make me feel small, put me in my place and keep me there. Of course i want to be there anyway. hehehe

I care about the height of the men I am with because I am a small/petite girl as it is. Any men smaller than I am is considered...well...small... I believe in the fire in the eyes as well, and the dominant personality alongside, but I can't submit to a man that doesn't initially intimidate me by stature alone. [:D]

im not into being intimidated, but men are stronger than women anyway - my son is an inch taller than me 5.4 (he's 12) and he's easily stronger than me, i do need the guy to be physically fit and strong, but height isnt important to me and i certainly dont measure a mans ability to overwhelm me by his height - his personality and ability to outsmart me is what does it. you know in the second world war people werent so tall - men averaged out about 5.7 to 6.0. and our boys kicked ass - so no its not a measure of manlyness in my opinion. actually ive noticed that very short women go for very tall men and often vice versa - its natures way of keeping the species at a sensible size. when we get really tall it affects our health in terms of the spine, hips, knees and workload on the heart. just as an aside [:D]

I am not quite 5'2" but for some reason I look taller (no one believes I am that short). The shortest man I have ever dated was 5'9", we stayed together for 7 yrs. Most of my other men were 6'2", eyes of blue type. It is not so much height that turns me off. It is whether or not they appear puny. If I look at a guy I don't want this thought rolling around in the back of my head, "yeah.. I can take him". sigh having been a bouncer at one time in my life sure has left its mark.. Kyst

Since im 5'7 an he likes me in at least 5 inch heels all the time im glad hes 6'6. I perfer men over 6 foot, just what im attracted to in my vanilla life. It does for me also help when the Dom is bigger....more threatening an I feel smaller an weaker then them. helps me take them more serious when i cant beat em up! LOL It also has alot to do with their attitude, the way they look, talk, act in everything whether ill behave or not! But then im a brat subbie anyways so it takes a real DOm to control me! :D

I go with the majority here and prefer taller men. Theres a 7 inch difference in us so it's just nice and comfortable.

I agree with some others, I'm barely 5'2 and prefer tall (6' or over) and a lil man-meat (no skrawny f*ckers. Short men are just not sexually attractive. Why have a dominant that I could potentially beat up? lol

My M is taller than me (not hard to do as I am only a little over 5 foot) but in general I like my D's to be close ish to me in height. I get edgy with anyone more than a foot taller than me. I think it has something to do with high school jocks and how hard it is to fit them into lockers if they are too tall. GRRRRR.

I love bigger and taller. I'm 5'4 so that's not hard to find. Former owner is 5'10. The last man I dated was 6'2 and I loved that. I felt I could disappear in him. The man I'm dating now is 5'11 and buffed. Good God I've never felt arms that big, hard and strong...whew! I don't think I'd care if he was shorter than me, cuz those arms....yum. [8D]

Though I tend to be drawn to taller men - the most powerfully Dominant person I've been with so far , was strongly built - but only a couple inches taller . I never noticed ! Oh my ...

my submission is not based on a mans stature, although will say that chemistry is very important, just like in the vanilla world if i am not attracted or he is not attracted, it is what it is!

Well, I'm 5'2 and I can't imagine a guy being shorter than me (unless they're in middle school.) My Dom is my favorite height 5'8-5'9. I wouldn't mind taller, but shorter guys are just plain unattractive to me. Nothing says submission like being able to beat your Dom up and sit on him.

I've never been with a guy as short as I am (4'11"). I am completely hot for a guy who's 5'5". To me he seems the perfect size because he doesn't have to bend in half to kiss and hug me, and I would submit completely to him, just as I would to a man twice his size. It's all personal preference and perspective.
