Personally I'm not fond of the entire "sissy" or cross-dressing thing. It doesn't float my boat in any fashion.

I think porn and these sorts of images promotes stereotypes that the intended audience will find arousing. I really dislike stereotypes which is probably why I'm mostly attracted to androgynous folks both men and women who don't fit into a mold set out by society or pornography.

TammyJo

has summed it up pretty close to what i was trying too type a few days ago . if you look at many of the so called (pro- Dome / Fem Dome) sites you always find posted or listed in there services or offerings they have   listing forecd dressing and  sissy / trainng . i think this might be where and how and why sub male's feel and get the idea every Mistress / Dome is into cding / panty wearing or feminzinigs of males / submissives

In my opinion, advertisements of services provided are very unlikely to be the stimulus for men's interests. It seems much more likely to me that adverts by pros are in response to the market for said activities.

I agree. I can't imagine a sub wanting to be feminized much, except as a "humiliation" type of thing, wearing panties, perhaps to symbolize the role reversal and the emasculation of his role; unless he was a TG to begin with, and do think that TGs make up a higher percentage of subs than TG's make up of the general population, from what I've seen on the net. These sissy sites, like Petticoated.com, are full of great fictonal stories which pretend they are letters from people. They are great porn for a TG sub, and a couple of them might even be true. One was from a guy who when he was a boy had to wear a school girl's raincoat/hood because of circumstances, and girls from that school passed by and laughed, and his mother explained it. That was so mild that it was believable.

I happened upon a site about raising kids, where these women who work in salons have seen an increasing number of women who bring in theirvyoung  sons, who have very long hair, and they have their hair done, often in curls, their nails polished, and some of them even have their sons in dresses, with pierced ears, and they often wear their hair in pigtails with ribbons. These women seem to be genuine, and see this at least once a month. One woman was a mother, who can't bear to cut her son's hair, and kind of likes him girly. I don't know what would have happened to me if I was a boy growing up in these accepting times. That was just unheard of back in the 1950's. My mother wished I was a girl, and I wished I was a girl, but could never tell her that, so rebelled when she'd try to get me interested in girl's stuff. I was so ashamed of it, and didn't understand it, and tried to fight it and hoped it would go awa y.
