quote:
ORIGINAL: slaveboyforyou My aunt called from Alabama and said her and my uncle found a stray cat. They took it to the vet, and the vet told them it was a Maine Coon Cat. I find that odd in Alabama; but never the less, I defer to the vet's knowledge. She was fishing for names. When I think Maine Coon cat, I think Maine. When I think Maine, I think New England. When I think New England, I think Moby Dick. So my suggestion was, "Ishmael." I thought it was cute. She wrote it down on a list she's gathering. Opinions? Suggested names? It should be a fun thread for cat lovers, or lovers of naming things in general. Trex as in Cooking Fat , Or for an American Moggy, you could call it Crisco My part time moggy is just called ' cat ', my reason being, the moggy has not yet told me his name, either that, or I am too stupid to understand what he says. His part time owners call him Beckham, but there is no way I am going to defile my favourite four legged friend with that name.
