I have slept on a few floors and happy with a pillow.I have even slept in a closet for a most beautiful Mistress in duluth.I can't place any childhood events for my submission eventhough I was abused by an older teen a few times.

Master will have me sleep on the floor only on occassions. It's either a punishment or because there are times that he wants to remind me of who I am. I will have to say that when I am on the floor beside him, I feel closer than I ever have. I guess it is because I know that the floor is my place, just like being at his feet is where I belong.

Ok I know that I have posted on this but I think I truly now know you felt when you made this post. This weekend I had asked master to push me harder than he has and he did we pushed me TO FAR to the point that when I got up I had left Sub/Slave mode and gone in to the fight or flight mode I chose fight at first and locked my self in the bathroom and calmed my self down and when I was ready I went back to him and he was on the edge of the bed and I laid my head on his feet and just laid on the floor and felt so calmed and relaxed and truly safe. Master was so worried about he picked me up and held me in his arms till I feel asleep. You see I am a Rape Victor I will never call my self a victim since I have over come this to live and trust.

i have the same situation.  i do feel that i would like to sleep on the floor when i m in that deep state of mind however my Master doesn't allow it

My Mistress likes me to cuddle as well, but I have found myself with urges to sleep on the floor or in a small cramped space. I feel that it happens to me when I either (1) have had a good play session or (2) haven't gotten to play in a while.

i had a mat ...like a thin mattress  i slept on when allowed in my owners bedroom for the night.  i had everything i needed blankets pillows and my little stuffed dog.  after cuddling i was sent to my mat for the night.  do i wish i could of stayed in bed with them all night yesss.. but i also liked them looking down in the am at me and telling me to get back in bed.   i got use to it, and actually miss it alot.  it kept me in my place.

Sleeping on the floor is a hard limit, but I don't mind not sleeping in the same bed. I am a terrible sleeper anyway, so it is a better night's rest for all if I am sent somewhere else for the night.

For me, it would be punishment to have to lay in a bed quiet and still for hours on end when I am wide awake and restless.

I love sleeping on the floor.  It doesn't happen all that often, but when it does, I'm always...grateful.  It's a feeling of warmth and protection for me.  It makes me feel like curling up like a cat, content.

I rarely am made to sleep on the floor. I haven't yet with Master thankfully although I'm sure it's coming...<cringe>.

For me it would feel as if I'm being punished or at least deprived of his affection. I like being able to wake up next to him, to feel his warmth and strong arms plus I like not waking up all stiff and sore in the morning.

Like many others here, multiple health problems make the floor very much a hard limit.  Not just for sleeping but for sitting as well.  Shoot, I just got a new (used) couch, that while it is really pretty comfortable, I tend to have to have my son help me get up from it, so sleeping, sitting on the floor is just a bad idea.  I wouldn't have a problem sleeping in a different bed/room, but like YHMA said, if it were MY bed, then I'm not even thinking of leaving it.  For those who enjoy it or don't have a problem with it, go for it.

It's not something Master likes. He prefers me there, within instant reach, and doesn't sleep well unless I'm in the bed with him.

That being said, even if this wasn't the case sleeping on the floor would make it very difficult for me to be able to tend my duties the following day. Being stiff, sore, in pain etc, isn't going to keep me in a submissive frame of mind, it tends to piss me off. I get growly and though I try very hard not to take that out on others it does make my ability to focus on work, and other duties, very difficult.

Floor sleeping is something i find extremely calming and submissive. i have never just curled up without being told, however, i may ask permission and see what happens.

I've been sleeping on the floor lately, and to be honest, it's really hurting my injured shoulder (something I've had for a few years now). I used to sleep on the floor of a prison cell back when I was owned about a decade ago, and it was the coolest thing ever, although I have to admit the "floor" was carpeted, so it was kind of nice. Right now, it's the hard floor and my shoulder gets the best of me sometimes. One of those problems of getting older, obviously. I vowed never to allow that to happen, but somehow it did.

The only time I'd sleep on the floor (besides camping) is if I feel sick or if I can't sleep it can work as a last resort...sometimes I just need something cold and hard beneath me. It doesn't have anything to do with being submissive or whateva..it's just what suits my body/mood at the time.

The floors around here suck, Making anyone sleep on hem would be irresponsible
they just suck :P

*laughs* I was having this same thought. Sure as hell if I had her sleep on the floor, eventually I'd go looking for her in the night and, not finding her, end up on the floor myself. And I like sleeping in the bed so I guess she has to also.
