How did Obama make a mistake, if he decided not to make a mistake?

Ok, let me re word. He made an error in judgement by considering a plan that would screw Veteran's and their family.

If " error in judgment" doesn't fit in properly enough for you,  you can chose one of these :

In addition to my apparent inability to use the English language properly, I apparently have poor reading comprehension skills. Look as I may, I cannot find any words that say " Obama is wrong on this one"   " I disagree with this particular proposal " or anything closely similar in any of your posts.

And that is perfectly OK.  You, as I, are entitled to your replies, anyway you chose to do it.

How telling that you think 'considering a plan' is an error of judgement. It seems to me that it's precisely because it's a consideration, and not a decision, that it is not a judgement - another case of over-zealous thought policing, perhaps? In any event, I'm surprised that you aren't jumping for joy that this plan isn't going forward. Even though we all knew it wouldn't from the very first time we heard about it.

Well then let me clarify.

If the intention was to truly cut benefits then yes he was absolutely wrong.

What I have seen posted here has been an idea that appears to have been floated in the administration that has not been directly attributed to anyone, much less Obama.

Again, in all this I have not seen who actually proposed this plan.

And I have not seen that Obama voiced any support of it.
