This message is coming from the veranda of our suite. We are docked in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

THANKS to all for their recommendations! 'Rule' was a FANTASTIC local Amsterdam tour guide. We saw things only seen due to his knowledge. His behind the scenes access was exactly what we were hopping.

Interesting item of note...

For the first time in our travels we were told that the port shopping would NOT accept US Dollars! Master says it is an AMAZING and note worthy accomplishment by the Obama Administration. He also said that fortunately as a result of our planned relocation to Italy, much of our liquidity has been swapped for Euro and pounds. The dramatic US economic downturn has resulted in having more US 'cash' (if we were stupid enough to convert it back) after paying for this trip than we had to start out. Master says; "THANK YOU OBAMA!"

Are you going along to the West London Munch after? Thats always a great place for meeting up with some of the London scene.
Also the London Fetish Fair is on the Sunday.
London club land is very quiet at the moment. Its a shame as we normally have a fairly lively scene here.

We'll be there June 12-17.

We'll be in Amsterdam from May 26-30 and need to be in Rotterdam to get on the ship on the 31st. We've never been there and look forward to seeing all that available to us; however we understand that it has gotten a lot more 'vanilla' than it used to be. beth's looking forward to seeing if they'll let her sit in one of the window seats in the 'red light' district!

These are all places where we either haven't been to, or haven't been to for a long time. We love to have some suggestions and "Don't miss this while you are there..." recommendations; vanilla and lifestyle.

Of course what we'd like the most would be to meet some of the great people we've come to know from CM in person.

(No one's mentioned a thing about my trip down the street to the little store to buy milk).
