Bush was a conservative President? Would that be a fiscal conservative or no?

Fiscally no...fiscally, he did a fine job of imitating the Democratic party in his growth of the government

Fact is, Bush gave the Dems everything they wanted, as long as they kept funding his war in the sandbox.

For 3/4 of his term, dems had no say at all.Not even the right to have a meeting. The bully-pubs saw to that.

And in the last two years, the dems at least tried to stop bush. But the republicans are bush, bush is them. There`s no distinction between them. And republicans are today, what they were last year.If anything, farther out of touch.

The "throw bush under the bus" routine is a little to cute and a little to late, to be believed. The myth that republicans had any principals or values has been busted. Thanks george....

Fact is Republicans were in complete control for 6 of his 8 years in office, but somehow you want to twist it around to blame Democrats for the Republican spending spree.

Actually...the Democrats have controlled Congress for at least the last 4 - 6 years.  That doesn't stop the fact that Bush overgrew the government by leaps and bounds.  It also is illuminative of the fact that as long as a president wants to grow the government, the Democrats in Congress will let him.

That's just about the same as stating that the democrats have little to no values because they associate with those such as Bill Ayers, Ward Churchill and their ilk.  Like the dems, the republicans come in all stripes and textures.

The Democrats have controlled Congress for 6 years?

Well that's interesting.

And I'm sure you are going to provide us all with proof of that interesting fact.

No offense CD but your calendar must be off a bit....Democrats have had the majority for the last 2 years only....
prior to that the Republicans have had  both since mid term elections in 1994...with the Republican Revolution and so called contract with America. In 2001 when Jim Jeffords switched to Independent the Democrats had a plurality in the Senate but not a majority. Just for clarifications sake.....

Don't see how that is meaningful.  It's been solved for us. A fairly apt demonstration of fuck with shit that belongs to the US, and you die.

I would not be opposed to fixing it for everone else if they would pay us.

really MNot, when was the last time Pirates murdered Americans?

Why would they still be attacking and killing our folks if Obama got that message across?

And what happened to the last bunch that siezed and killed American citizens?

Don't know when the last time was.

Are they still attacking and killing our folks?

I don't know what happened, that would have been a different administration.

So, tell us.

So your ignorance is on display. (no real surprise)

You can pretend it was a great victory, they are now too afraid to attack and murder (which never happened untill Obama got in) American Citizens.

At least you can pretend that as long as you pay no attention to what is actually happening in the world.

Great Victory and they quake in fear of us.....interesting fantasy land you live in. What does gas cost in your fantasy land? What is unemployment?

The first american vessel was taken last year, rescued, 4 dead.

The four killed on a private yacht  for which 15 pirates lost their lives back in February, does not seem to be current and ongoing.

Your ignorance is manifold though, and on display.

It's been solved for us. A fairly apt demonstration of fuck with shit that belongs to the US, and you die.

I stand by that statement.

Last year they seized some 53 ships.  The reason we are coming under attack is we are interfering with that.

They said there will be reprisals, well, don't know how you are going to stop it, but you fuck with americans, you're dead.  Just so.
