ORIGINAL: CreativeDominant What's to discuss? She had her moment of doubt and indecision and fairly quickly came to the realization that it was not the way for her. Ultimately, she chose the path she has followed all along...in her view, abortion is wrong, not just for others but for herself as well. Tis a hell of a lot less hypocritical than Al Gore flying around on a private jet, living in a mansion, and traveling in an S.U.V. while telling the rest of us that the sky is falling and we have to reduce OUR carbon footprint. The bolded bit, she doesn't have the right to try and enforce her beliefs on all women. She may feel it is wrong, but it is legal and it is a medically safe option. Just because she feels it is wrong for her doesn't make it wrong for me. Now I do agree that her having the thought is natural given finding out that the fetus she was carrying showed problems. The thing is, she is using her decision to further her beliefs as part of a political agenda. There was no reason for her to bring it up except as a tool. Many people find that reprehensible while others agree with her attempt to change what is right now a legal and viable procedure.
