i have to disagree Lady Pact. everyone is entitled to a job and a reasonable standard of living. Nobody has the right to interefere with that in my book. to me that is bullying. Unfortunately not everybody is as lucky as us in the Western world but they are deserving too. Nobody should be without employment. And above all employers should be honest with their employees. Sadly many arent. You are not alone in Your views

For the record i was nt fired for sexual harrassment . they did not say that at all. they fired me for alleged poor interpersonal skills. How does anyone define that? they did nt explain, they didnt make an issue of it till the very end. That to me is bullying and wrong

gotta love the way Madame XI "supervises" us subordinates!

Do you suppose she wears leather and stilettos while she's doing so?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

the group im with in Dublin is a BDSM group. they are a great group who do not think im going to poison their community just because i have an illness
kevin

Kevin...for the love of heaven NO ONE mentioned an illness. You made a post and it was responded to. That is what we do here.

Now i have a feeling your next tangent (ie whinefest) if going to be about you are discriminated against because you have a history of depression.

Allow me...

Itrerpersonal skills in regard to the workplace is the level of communication and social skills required to maintain an acceptable level of productivity as well as get along with co-workers and supervisors.

The simplest translation: Do your job with  no whining.

KMsAngel -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/26/2009 7:06:05 AM)

and jobs for all the people and equal wages for all the people and support for all the people no matter their level of skill......

that utopia died a death, now didn't it?

GreedyTop -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/26/2009 7:09:20 AM)

He did that one a while back, Holly....of course, that doesnt mean he won't again.

Kevin.. FFS...  there are a good number of folks on these boards that suffer depression.  There are countless numbers of people in the world that suffer depression who successfully hold down jobs and function as contributing, non-whining adults in the world.

God knows how many of these people work for women that dress in a manner that (in your warped little world view) would be considered Domly. I'd hazard a guess that there are more than a few people working for some of those women that are somewhat kinky.  And I'd also hazard a guess that MOST OF THEM are able to separate their kink from their job.

Perhaps you should work on learning to do that.

FullfigRIMAAM1 -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/26/2009 7:12:08 AM)

I really admire yours and Holly's patience and benevolence, especially with regard to kevin.   He's so unwilling to learn anything new.     M

Yippie Skippy AngelEyes...you understand where he is coming from!!

It does not matter that one may not be qualified for a job, that he/she may be a bumbling dolt, may have such poor interpersonal skills that he/she causes productivity-affecting discord, makes sexual harassing comments, et al...

None of that matters!! Having a good job is a RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*pounds desk for emphasis*

DarkSteven -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/26/2009 7:15:20 AM)

kevin, just a little insight into your stance of "everyone should have a job"...

One of the tenets of capitalism is that people should be paid in direct ratio to the value of their work.  This differs from Marx's view - his tenet was "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs".  Communism was established to fill that, and failed miserably when people did not exert themselves at work because they didn't have to.  Incompetence and not caring produced some horrible results.

KMsAngel -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/26/2009 7:15:33 AM)

*sad face. looks at the crumbled graham crackers. hands holly a napkin to wipe off the butter.*

my utopian cracker world has been smashed by the fist of reason. sigh.
