Just watched interviews and discussion about this on a news show. Apparently one of the troopers went to the hospital and apologized to the family for how he acted.

Yes Angel, I have been here awhile.  I do appreciate folks on here for defending me.  Thanks y'all!  My opinions are often unpopular, and I realize that.  Believe it or not, I'm actually encouraged to talk by people in the diner I frequent.  Folks find my views entertaining.  I'm a nice guy.  My intention is not to cause others discomfort.  If I do, I apologize.  But I'm not going to change my views based solely on folk's emotions.

Guilt or innocence is a judgement that should be made after the facts are in, not before as so many did with the granny tasering guy.  I think that there is a middle ground between being a cop groupie and a cop hater.  You won't generally see me getting beligerant with a cop but you also won't see me dropping to the side of the road and sucking him off either. 


I really didn't want to get in the middle of a private feud here, but  I became a little tired of the topic of the post being ignored.

And yes, guilt or innocence should be established after the facts are in, but there are certain things I think are clearly established, mainly the disregard for the patient.

Said the person sticking his nose into someone else's "tempest in a teapot."

Seems to me I have a lot or people on my side and only one (scratch that, two) sad individuals still trying to start shit.

Considering this is the internet, if you're going to take a jab at someone's "joined date" you should be aware by now that it's probably not what you think it is and sometimes "net handles" change.

Or, perhaps as GreedyTop pointed out, you might just want to read the line you're responding to more thoroughly so that you don't make yourself look like an idiot in the first place. That's just a suggestion, though. What do you think?
