again, im not arguing that... does it make it right? acceptable to do so? acceptable to use them when there is so much more we could use as meat against her fitness to run our country?

is it ok that, since she made a mockery out of her own family, that we follow her lead?
Well one could turn that argument on its head....is it acceptable to idly keep quiet while she uses them.Painting an idylic picture for the consumption of the true beleivers in the Republican base....remain silent and fail to point out the hypocrisy? How should the Democratic response to her been crafted?...As far as I can recall....Palin supplied all the ammunition used against her and her family. The resposibility for protecting the Palin children from all this is, and was, rightly so Palin's and her husband ...that she failed to do so is her fault alone.

Quit trying to put words in my mouth, Ken.  I spoke of rabid Democrat types reflecting on the party as a whole.

As for answering two questions with one post, yes, I did.  Sometimes refered to as killing two birds with one stone.  I replied to him, and made other efforts to be sure you knew the answer was to your inquiry as well.

Be careful about "killing birds" Rich....surely you noticed how much trouble President Obama got in for swatting a fly.

What effort? My name appears no where in the post. You responded explicitly to Panda.

This is your claim that I responded to:

Can't see it all, huh? Maybe it is like one of those Salvador Dali works where you have to step back and turn your head a little? Keep looking. It's there.

You are willing to place the blame for every word on one side, including what people in a crowd called out, on McCain personally, but deny that the filth that was pointed at Sarah by some rabid Dems will reflect badly on the Party at large...

Maybe tilt your head right and squint a little?

Now since you were trying to equate people holding McCain responsible for what Palin did during his campaign for President it was asked of you repeatedly to prove your claims. Dissemble all you want but I'll happily keep posting the posts you made in response.

You've just entered the realm of making zero sense. You have no clue what you're talking about and you've latched onto me like a rabid pitbull thinking that I hold a different stance than you, despite my repeated efforts to show otherwise.

Well, you can argue with the wall now, kiddo. I'm done with you. You're dismissed. Answer back with more nonsensical drivel if you like. I won't be reading it. I will no longer be helping you to hijack this thread with irrelevant questions.

we know she is now 18. at the time, she wasnt.

Then you shouldn't be now telling people to "leave the family out of it" or asking "why drag minors through the mud".

Not necessarily. Check both time stamps. You might find they're out of sync. The post I made just before this one indicates a time prior to 2 pm. I wasn't even awake before 2. I made the post when I woke up (after breakfast) and the stamp of the forum says prior to 2 pm. The time stamp on this site and the cm site aren't always in sync.

the "tard" referred to earlier was the baby with down's syndrome. he isnt 18. there are 5 children total.

Loki45 -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 2:34:24 PM)

LoL....the latest on CNN about the "resignation":

"Astounding. Risky. Quitter. And that's what fellow conservatives had to say Sunday about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her decision to step down with 18 months left in her term."

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/07/05/palin.reaction/index.html

It seems even the GOP calls her a quitter. Oh yes....there's no 2012 campaign for her. Thank goodness. [sm=yahoo.gif]

slvemike4u -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 2:36:33 PM)

Each and every one of them trotted out and introduced by Mom herself in and effort to selll herself as the defender of True American Family values. What follows thereafter is the responsibility of the pit bull with lipstick.

tazzygirl -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 2:42:20 PM)

again, so, its ok to call a baby a "tard".

nice.

i would rather rip the woman apart for the charges that rape victims got to prove they were raped and victims. i would rather talk about how the idiot cannot seem to name a single newspaper she read. its so much more delicious to poke fun at her for not realizing africa was a continent.

i take no pleasure is attacking children.. even if the adults put them in the line of the firing range.

slvemike4u -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 2:54:14 PM)

A few over the top ,off the wall remarks by the fringe do not equate to attacks. The much more common response was the pointing out of the hypocrisy's inherent in her positions....especially as it pertained to her own family.A family the she herself held up as representative of  true American values.
To point to the extremes of the coverage as representative of that coverage is a tad harsh don't you think?....
I'm not ready to concede ,in any way shape or form, that the scrutiny her family went thru was above and beyond what most political families are put through.Quite frankly given her stated POV on many issues ....the Barracuda and her family got off lite......Dare she try again for national office, perchance as a nominee for the top of the ticket....well the phrase "you aint seen nuthin yet" leaps to mind.

tazzygirl -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 2:57:17 PM)

sorry, i have no desire to continue this thread. it leaves a foul taste. i have made my point exceedingly clear and leave you "gentlemen" to your "enjoyment" of tormenting children

Looks to me like the focus of the thread is "Palin." That's what people are commenting about. You can twist it how you like, but the insults are ultimately against the lipstick-wearing dog, not anyone else.

slvemike4u -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 3:03:55 PM)

I'm really fucking confused...are there "gentleman" here engaged in "tormenting children"...isn't that against TOS?

Got me. I've only seen people making fun of her and her so-called values. Well that and one guy spouting nonsense.

slvemike4u -> RE: Palin to resign as governor (7/5/2009 3:10:50 PM)

Dammit to hell ...it all seemed so coherant in my head.....sorry.
