This is one of those ..."WELL, DUH!!!" moments

MadAxeman -> RE: For those owned by cats... (7/14/2009 1:59:13 AM)

Finally it is proven.
Simple minded people should not own cats.

yourdarkdesire -> RE: For those owned by cats... (7/14/2009 2:00:34 AM)

umm - I thought the cats were the owners?!?

That's very interesting, cos it fits my cat perfectly. He does exactly that, just like you'd taken a purr and a miaow and blended the two, mainly when he wants his dinner. He is a housecat and the pair of us live alone together - though he will also do it when he's at Mum's with me for the occasional weekend.

Mum's cat, on the other hand, never seems to either purr or miaow properly - she just does this funny squeak thing. I think she thinks she's a mouse... or maybe a tiger, it's a bit like the sound you hear cubs making on those wildlife programmes.

Cat lovers are slaves to cats, either that or they have some serious mind bending powers to control receptive humans.

But what a fine creature to be a slave to.

hmm .... I have (fortunately) been a kitty litter slave for 22 years and luv all my furballs TYVM

Aneirin -> RE: For those owned by cats... (7/14/2009 4:16:56 AM)

Hmmm, kitty litter, I have'nt got a cat, but I got a kitty litter, for the visiting cats. The kitty litter has a use for me though, for it is great for patinating copper bearing metals, cat's piss is the best, better than ammonia, just bury the item in the litter, and let the piss get to work

Cat litter has alot of uses. I always carry about 100 pounds in my trunk in the winter. It gives a bit of traction and can be put under the tires if you get stuck on the ice.

you could always adopt a rescue cat and have your own supply [:)]

Aneirin -> RE: For those owned by cats... (7/14/2009 6:18:29 AM)

I would adopt a rescue cat, that was the original plan, but there are too many cats here now, and I don't want to encourage more cat scrapping, we got two bruisers and eight harrassed cats just in a block of eight  very small apartments, what we call studio flats here, with one room. Hasten to say, I get them all at one time or other, they get fed, they kip, squirt in the litter if am asleep and they go when they please as my window is open to them. Different cats, with different characters makes a nice change sometimes.

LOL! I have this image of your car stuck  in snow and you're trying to pick up the 100lb bag of litter and start teetering back & forth! Whooooops![sm=alarm.gif][sm=alarm.gif][sm=alarm.gif][sm=alarm.gif][sm=alarm.gif][sm=alarm.gif]

It also won't burn up on re-entry from outer space.

Yeah but using the cat works so much better.  Easier to dispose of too.
