Unfortunately, the ones that DON'T get it are the ones who wouldn't read Akasha's post to begin with. They're too busy emailing every woman's profile they come across. The ones who DO get it avoid becoming part of the problem, YET never fail to get lumped into the demographics of "those who are causing the problem" by angry women who are upset because the "other" guys just don't seem to get it.

I simply read them all to start, make notes of ones which look like they have potential and answer those immediately. Then I go back and do the ones that are "thanks but no thanks"

I rarely answer most of my email. I mean most of the emails I receive are stupid little two or three word emails with nothing to respond to so I just delete the emails. I don't respond to guys who whistle or call me "hot" when I'm walking down the street either. I keep on walking and ignoring them. Should I stop and say "oohhh..thank you so very much! I'm not interested though". If I did that I'd never get a chance to get to my lunch break...so no I don't respond to every single email or person in the world. Ignore works well for me. Call me rude. Doesn't bother me at all.

chances are, the one whining about it didn't write an email worthy of a reply. or even a profile worth responding. as is, sadly, most often the case.

~fr~ I rarely respond to emails. My profile clearly says I'm not seeking. However, if someone local sends me an email, as long as he approaches me as a friend rather than any form of Dominant, I might respond. My favorites are the ones that send me a 'template' (in the olden days they were called macros), you know the 'form' email that gets sent to every friggin female within a 2000 miles radius. Oh... and yes I'm rude.

I do reply to most all my letters. However, when I get form letters, they get a form "thanks but no thanks, good luck elsewhere" back. Form for form, right?

My phrase when I'm not interested is generally "best wishes in that which you seek". I do believe in replying to e-mails as a general rule. Oh, and "Read my profile" is another favorite reply when someone obviously hasn't and is asking for something, proposing something, etc. that is not what I seek. Please let your friend know she's welcome to borrow my phrases and cut and paste at will if she so-desires. Davan

It's ridiculous for women on this site to even attempt to reply to every message. Any man with half a clue will know that. Still, women should be as specific as possible about what they seek.

abt: whats ridiculous is the number of men that do NOT read profiles, and will contact ANYONE who is an 'innie' regardless. I am specific in my profile that I AM NOT LOOKING (I am quite happily married, thanks...) and yet I STILL get shite mail from fucktards. So no, I do not consider my lack of response to be rude. Here we go again. I'll stick with My position on the subject. Unless you respond to every piece of unsolicited r/t mail that shows up in your box at home, you have no right to complain. I don't respond to everything sent by the carpet cleaner offering a special price for three rooms or the insurance agent down the street. It's the same thing. If I'm not interested, I'm just not. It has nothing to do with who wrote it.

Who knew I could have so much fun just with birthday "spanks?" LOL. Of course, meeting real people is much different than replying to every random mail that lands in the cm mail. Some people really want to do this stuff and some people don't. That girl was a lot braver than most folks who just want to type up an email.
